A Pleasant Helpful Experience
I recently bought a used car from Roy Robinson Chevrolet-Subaru and was very happy with my experience. The sales staff didn't play the normal games I was used to dealing with in regards to used vehicles. Instead, dealt with me in a very honest and forthright way. The costs for minor repairs quoted were exact and not misleading or deflated in anyway. I have since recommended to my friends and coworkers Roy Robinson because of their honesty and respect in dealing with me.
My deal was fair and professionally handled
I leased a 2017 Colorado on 2/10. My salesman was Ivar. He knew the vehicles, competition well. Ivar was very patient and kept close contact with me through decision. I felt that my deal was fair and professionally handled. I would recommend Ivar and Roy Robinson to friends and family.
I love the ease of buying from Roy Robinson
I went through Costco to buy the car. I filled out the web form and within 10 minutes Alex was calling on the phone. I originally went in looking for a Legacy 3.6R and test drove one for about a half hour (up I-5, over Firetrail and down Marine Dr.) to get an idea of the car in all types of driving. What a nice car, can't even tell it's a CVT. They didn't have the color that I wanted and Alex was looking to bring one in from Bellevue as soon as it landed. Then about noon Friday I called him up and said I changed my mind, I wanted the Outback. Because royrobinson.com is kept current I was able to let him know of the exact stock number I wanted to look at. He was on the road coming back from BC and stuck in line at the border so he handed me off to Dave. I went to the lot about 2pm and Dave had the Outback waiting for me. I took about a 15 minute drive, when I was returned he said that Alex would be there in about 20 minutes. Dave started getting the paperwork ready and the car in the shop to get prepped for delivery. When Alex got in he ran the numbers and was about $190 over what I wanted to pay, he was able to get it to my exact out-of-the-door number. There was no pushing of extended warranties or other add-ons, he just made me aware of what was available and let me know that I could purchase it later. By about 4pm after I wrote them a check for the full amount they handed me the keys and away I went with my new fully loaded 2017 Outback.
Alex was wonderful to work with, any question or request never flummoxed him. He and Dave got my paperwork through quickly and I was out the door in under 2 hours. I love the ease of buying from Roy Robinson and I'll recommend them to anyone that is looking for a Subaru, Chevy or RV.
The Costco discount wasn't that much if you're looking at the price of a new car but if you figure that Costco just gave you a few years of membership for going through them, well hey.

Rick Berg was the contact person at Roy Robinson Chevrolet. Here is what I have seen and dwelt with: A. the staff is there to help, yes help, work with you. B. the dealership is totally honest. C. the price was excellant, bought a Pick Up, and the disclosure was complete and completely thorough. D. the sale was not speedy, the sale was complete, and explained each item that was to be done. E. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Roy Robinson dealership and will not be the last. I recommend if you are tired of the sales type hawks go to this dealership and truly feel good, and secure with your purchase.

Collision Repair Center - GREAT customer service
In September of 2015 a windstorm knocked a branch (7 inches in diameter) down and took out the right mirror damaging the roof, fender and both passenger doors. The car was only 7 months old. Roy Robinson Collision and Repair had the car a week and a half and it was returned good as new. I was treated as though I was a queen by all the staff. They communicated every step of the way. That is why yesterday I went back to them to consult and repair damage sustained to the rear of my car during an accident. Lift gate will have to be replaced among other things. Once again, I have had the very best treatment. GREAT customer service.
I got exactly what I wanted
Nate Lugg really helped me out, I got exactly what I wanted. No one tried to up-sell me, no pressure, just a lot of people who actually seemed happy to be there. My little car is great! I will be happy to go back for all my car service appointments, and I would recommend this place to my friends. You can't miss it from I-5.
Everything I hoped for
Everything I hoped for. As a retired female I came loaded for bear. I had read all the reviews, what the prices were in the area and which dealerships had what available. Since Roy Robinson Subaru was the closest and I had met with Sonny Roberson a month ago I chose to work with him this time. I knew they did not have the color I wanted but I would wait until they did. Serendipitously, a green one, my color, that had been ordered by another client, appeared that morning. Now for the price battle. I threw down my truecar price print up and Sonny threw down his. His was less. Needless to say I drove out without much effort, anxiety and with more than I expected. Went to the moon and back for this one
What can I possibly say about Cory at Roy Robinson that hasn't already been said. He has made a life long car dream come true for me. He not just went the extra mile. He went to the moon and back for this one. Came in on his day off. Made a video on YouTube so I could see the car. Because I was busy with work and couldn't come in. I am a 65 year old female that has bought more than a few vehicles in my lifetime. Nick Buckles is the absolute best salesman I have ever encountered. I am not exaggerating! I cannot remember ever being more satisfied than I was while dealing with Nick. Please believe me when I say I have also had quite a few unpleasant experiences with car salesmen. Nick did a fantastic job in listening to me, meeting my needs, and getting me through the process in a timely way that I really appreciated. He took his time going over the features of the car and making sure I understood how everything worked. I also had a positive experience with the finance person who helped me close the sale. She understood that I was paying cash for the car and was not interested in purchasing some of the other options that were available and did her part to get me out of your dealership in a timely way. Your dealership is very fortunate to have such an outstanding salesman on your staff as well as a competent finance person. Both of them listened to me and did not use any high pressure sales tactics to get me to buy the car or the extra options. 2017 Subaru Forester Purchase from Roy Robinson
Great customer service called in with Diesel odor in cab, they had the information and ran VIN and told me it had extended warranty for the down pipe being misaligned and aslo had airbag recall or updated, they took care of both. Very happy with them and willingness to pass the information they had to me. Called with updates and when they found the problem and when it would be done great business!

Both me and my Husband have had some bad car buying experiences but this was just the opposite. Jeremy Turner treated us so good. He kept in contact with us updating us on the cars arrival. Couldn't find a better car for a better deal anywhere
Great car buying experience... (actually, it's a lease, but I can't imagine not purchasing the car when the lease is up). This was the first lot I went to, chosen partially because of positive reviews. I ended up getting the first car I test drove, largely because Kelly Adams listened to what I was looking for and made the perfect recommendation. I did test drive something else and then poked around online later and even made inquiries with "Internet specialists," but I couldn't find a better car for a better deal anywhere.
The process was easy, there was zero pressure at any time, and Kelly was great to work with. He came in on his day off when I came back for the car, held it for me while I waited for information on an insurance settlement, didn't blink an eye when I wanted way too many payment option scenarios, and gave me a personal "Subaru for dummies" demonstration so that I felt comfortable driving it. And the car - a 2017 legacy - is fantastic. I can't believe all of the safety features! Especially important to someone recovering from a total loss accident caused by a teenager who wasn't paying attention.

I worked with Brian Russel and he was awesome, some salesmen can be really sleazy but he was honest with me with any questions I had.
I was upfront with Brian with my situation, and how much I was looking to spend. When I initially came in there wasn't much they could do for me in my price range but Brian said he would keep a look out for new inventory and contact me when he's got something. A few days later he called me for the perfect little SUV that was in my price range and fit me for the situation I was in.
I really had a perfect experience and I love my car, the only thing that I would change was getting a full tank of gas after purchasing the vehicle. I went home with a quarter tank and after dropping money on a down payment I could have really used a full tank.
Other than that I will be back when needing to purchase a new vehicle! Try to ask for Brian if he's available you won't be disappointed.

I always bring my Outback here for oil changes and maintenance. I couldn't be happier with the customer service! I commute 50 miles every day for work and don't like to wait when I could be on my way to work, they always allow me to get a loaner car (even when I'm only doing an oil change). This morning I dropped the car off for my scheduled recall maintenance and an oil change, got there at 7am and was on the way to work at 7:12am. They are always friendly and the facility is very nice. They have made loyal customer out of me!!

Seriously, where's the sixth star? Really, this was the most satisfying and *pleasant* auto transaction my husband and I have ever had. Jeramy Turner was awesome from the first phone call to the drive out the big doors. I can't say enough about how great he is, as well as the Kara Morth in Financing. We love our new Subie (our first), and the process was enhanced, not poisoned, by the transaction.

We first got quotes from most dealers in the Seattle area & Roy Robinson's was the best. We worked with Dave Koshak (Sales) & Melina (Finance). Both were great to work with. Overall, everyone at the dealership is very good; they are friendly & helpful.
Dave is such a nice & genuine human being. No pressure, no sales tactics. Just helping us out with the deal on the right car. He also very patiently walked us through the manual & car features before we set off with it. Dave called us the next day to check everything was ok with the vehicle after a day of driving & had already scheduled us the upgrades/accessories that we had requested.
Will update review after we work with them more for any upgrades or maintenance. Recommend visiting them at least once if your planning to get a Subaru.

I've purchased a lot of cars over the years beginning in the 1960's. The experience at Roy Robinson over the last couple of weeks has been, simply, exceptional. My salesperson Mike Kempter is an old hand with Subaru's. I had done a lot of research online and came to my first visit at this dealership with countless questions and things I wanted to experience in test drives. Mike was knowledgeable, friendly and very willing to spend all the time I needed to feel like I really had solid information to take home and consider. When I did decide to buy a new Outback, I shopped numerous dealers around Puget Sound. Talked to Mike and he gave me a quote that beat them all. My initial contacts with Mike and the return trip to complete the actual purchase was, to say the least, very informative about this dealership. Besides Mike, I also spent time with Finance Manager, Bev Cain and got to observe a number of interactions between other employees as well. Bev was extremely friendly, professional and walked me through the many forms that had to be completed. She also had products to sell (warranties, etc.), but provide me with real information and not a sales pitch or whisper of anything that felt like pressure to commit right then. Then comes the casual routine interactions I observed between staff members from my salesman to the finance manager to other office staff to the young guys prepping the cars and running errands. I got the sense the people here like each other! The culture of this workplace was best defined for me by the many times I heard "please" and "thank you." A friend who drove me over to pick up the new car was similarly impressed. Even the best of all my past car buying experiences had at least one or two parts of the transaction that left me with some negative feeling. Not so this time. Thanks Roy Robinson Team. I'll be back and will be pointing friends in your direction.

Not sure what is more exciting and shock-worthy at the moment - the new, sleek, Black Tahoe we just drove off with (squeals of delight included) or the surprisingly great experience buying it. Yep, you read that right, I said "great experience" - something I have NEVER before associated with a vehicle purchase.
And here's how that happened. After surviving droves of smarmy dealers and their immoral tactics, we were battle-weary and burned out. Enter Nick Buckles at Roy Robinson. Nick earned my trust by being transparent and without guile. He didn't try to lure us in with dealer games or 'creative' accounting. His sincere nature sold me on the vehicle before we ever stepped foot on site.
And it wasn't because he's slick. Exactly the opposite.
Nick is certainly savvy and sharp (which was appreciated), but he is also the most non-salesman I have ever met (which was appreciated even more). And therein lies his appeal.
The entire dealership is that way, from the receptionist to the finance manager. No gimmicks, no BS - just good, genuine people, the kind you'd want to hang out with; the type of people you want to believe still make up the majority. It's an honest, low-key business model that just works. And obviously someone there was brilliant enough to hire Nick.

My friend had just bought a Subaru and came with me to your dealership. The next day Sun Dec 4th I bought a Forester. It was a great experience. Traded my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek in for a 2017 Forester. Great experience, wonderful sales guy Kelly Rayson. I had heard from some friends a few years back about how much they love Subaru's, and especially liked the Marysville dealership. Know I understand why! This was my second purchase from this dealership, and I would recommend them and Subaru's to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about our car buying process. Our dealer, Doug, was warm and inviting. He found the perfect car for my family, while sticking to our budget. He didn't try to haggle or put me into a car I couldn't afford. He is very friendly and happy, he even called the next day to see if I had any questions about my car since I had a chance to drive it. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful , the process was smooth from beginning to finish. I used Costco auto program and was doing a loan though BECU. Sonny beat the APR % on BECU's loan and gave me a excellent APR% off of the loan the his company . Ah-May-Zing! Our experience was amazing. We worked with Kelly. He was extremely pleasant, relaxing energy, easy-going, intuitive, accommodating, genuine, non-pushy, and was completely willing to work with my husband and I. He got us in and out as fast as we had hoped (signing paperwork was about 30 mins and orientation was about 30 mins for the car - they are brilliantly organized and efficient!), and was not only friendly, but also attentive to our individual needs. Friendly and easy going but very professional
I bought a new 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 from Bic Lothchomphou. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had, and I have had quite a few. He was willing to fight for the price I wanted for my trade in. Not only that, I was able to negotiate everything until I was completely happy.
Everyone at the dealership was friendly and easy going but very professional. I will not hesitate to go back and buy another vehicle in the future!
The only downfall was it took a little while to get into financing, but that just shows that no one could pass up the great deals that they have. I couldn't be happier with my entire experience!

I have been doing buissness with roy robinson for about 5 years me and my wife purchase a used 2005 Subaru forester back in 2011 from Jeremy he took care of us and they fixed all the issues with the car at the time of purchase that were agreed on in the contract even when the sunroof damage was more extensive than originally thought they took care of it no problem. I am well versed in the car buying process and I chuckle at most of these reviews that portray the dealer did them wrong. It is not the wild west of car buying read your contracts and verify any promises made are in the paperwork when you sign. Anyways back on subject the forester we had was going to need a engine overhaul so we decided to upgrade to a newer subaru a used 2013 forester xt we ended up buying from a dealer in Bellevue because it is a hard to find car. After the purchase of the new car it needed some warranty work on the emissions system so i took it to roy robinson for the work. Unfortunately when i picked up the car i knowticed a substantial dent in the fender when i brought it up to the service department they took care of it no argument no questions they just handled it. We started off thinking we were just looking but Jason P. let us test drive a truck right away. When we mentioned we were looking for certain features he took the time to 'build' what we wanted on the web site and came up with a price. We recently purchased a new Winnebago View RV from Roy Robinson RV. We had a very pleasant experience throughout our whole process. Our salesman Dominic Palmieri was great to work with , he was very knowledgeable and delivered on everything he talked about, we felt he truly cared about us as we went through the buying process. We made several trips to the dealership , Dominic came in on his day off to help us. When we took delivery of or our RV, Dominic introduced us to their service staff. The service staff spent a couple of hours with us explaining everything and showing us how to use many of the features of our new RV. During our walk through a couple of minor issues cropped up which were taken care of immediately. Roy Robinson Subaru was highly rated on Yelp, which is why I put it high on my list of dealerships to visit. I was looking for a used Outback, recent year, low mileage. I spoke with the salesman Sonny on the phone for some preliminary information, then met him at the dealership. He was informative, personable but businesslike, and gave helpful answers to all my questions. We took a ride in a nice used 2016 Outback and I liked the car a lot. I eventually bought an Outback that I especially liked from another dealer, but I'd rate Roy Robinson and Sonny highly for their professionalism and their ability to help me find the car I wanted, without the high-pressure tactics that I had feared when I started my search.

I purchased my Subaru Impreza two days ago after deciding I needed a car with more control on roads impacted by various stormy weather conditions. I was seriously considering two vehicles for this purpose, a Subaru and another model with hybrid capabilities as I have up to this point been a very satisfied owner of a hybrid (which I drove only on dry or wet roads because I owned a 4 wheel drive vehicle). Andrew Manseth responded to my inquiry through Costco and offered to help me with my search. Initially I was looking at the Hybrid Crosstrek. Meanwhile I investigated other models and when I got back to Andrew I admitted I was in a quandary about which way to go. He really helped me out by sending me lots of written and video information about the Subaru's from Consumer Reports as well as long range data about the gas and other costs of owning a Subaru over the long run compared to other similar cars. I really appreciated the time and effort he invested in helping me look at several different aspects of moving from a hybrid to an all wheel drive Subaru. I ultimately decided on the Impreza because I wanted to lower my initial investment, get the best mileage possible in a Subaru and C.R. gave it a high rating in several areas. There was no pressure just support to make the best decision for my needs. When I went into the dealership to actually buy the new car it was vastly different than my last experience buying a new car. We thoroughly compared all the features of the Impreza with the Crosstrek, drove the Impreza while Andrew pointed out all the capabilities while I tried them out. I believe I got a good trade in value on my hybrid and the overall experience did not seem like a slog of waiting and waiting but rather a comfortable streamlined experience which went by quickly. I had heard nothing but good things about dealing with Roy Robinson Subaru and my experience completely supported that reputation. I would recommend working with Andrew as he provided the best car buying experience I have EVER had. After buying my previous car, I dreaded having to go through that experience again. Working with Andrew and Subaru has changed my mind and I now know there is a great place to go for a positive and rewarding car buying experience! Plus I got a great car :)! Now my entire family (3 children and me) are proud Subaru drivers.

Even though I asked my dealer Andrew Manseth at Roy Robinson Subaru so many annoying questions before buying my vehicle, he was very helpful, courteous and friendly. He got pushy sometimes but I understand with the nature of the business.
They didn't have the vehicle I want on the lot but they were able to trade with another dealership. You have to live with the extra miles they put on the vehicle delivering it though.
Overall, I got the best deal in my opinion for my Forester but the deal was simple, no trade in, no financing, Etc. Very simple price break down, no surprises, no deception. It was pretty laid back. At Roy Robinson Subaru, Treat the dealers the way you like to be treated and they will take care of you.

One of the sales experts, in particular, was named Michael Schuler. He was so knowledgeable on every aspect of that dealership and all the cars on the lot. Helped me find exactly what I wanted, knew every inch of the car, and made the process of financing and finally purchasing a car, easy and fun. I would recommend this rep to anyone.

My New Truck
I bought my new truck from Roy Robinson Chevrolet, I had started looking late on day and stopped by about 15 minutes before closing Brian Russell was there and showed me several Silverado 4x4 trucks and arranged a test drive even tho it was past closing time. After I took the drive I told Brian it was my first day looking, he said when I was ready to buy let him know and he would do his best to find me exactly what I was looking for. No hassel, no pressure, a great buying experience. When I decided to buy I contacted Brian and after a few calls, a few emails and a few messages he found me the truck I was looking for at a price that was within the range I had quoted to him. The whole experience was quick, easy and trouble free. If I decide to buy another new car Brain and roy Robinson will be my first stop to see if they have what I want.
Totally Awesome experience
I bought my first Subaru (pre-owned) on 8/15/2016. I went in to 'just look' at what was available. Andrew Manseth really listened to everything I had to say. He changed my opinion about car salesmen!!!!
He answered ALL my questions, showed me every vehicle I requested. Explained every button I inquired about.
Andrew helped me narrowed down my 'likes' and then showed me 3 or 4 cars that fit the bill. After sitting in all of them I really zeroed in on the Forester. It had everything I wanted plus many additional options.
I decided to take it for a test drive and that convinced me that this was the car for me. I love the handling, the large windows. I ended up buying the Forester that Andrew suggested.
Andrew explained all my options for purchasing the car, and actually may it a very enjoyable experience. I am VERY VERY happy with my Subaru and would definitely consider buying from this dealership again.

My wife and I went into this dealership without knowing anything at all about RV's and came away feeling very confident and knowledgeable, to the degree that we bought a used, class A motor home with assurance that everything would be operational, that a mechanic would be available at anytime to assist us in an emergency. The staff here is just fantastic--upfront about all the pitfalls and pleasures associated with such a large investment. We have had the RV for several weeks, and have camped a few times. There was an incident with the fuel gauge not operating properly; but the mechanic was helpful and concerned enough to call back with information that we could use to get us underway. It was suggested to my wife and I to visit Roy Robinson Chevrolet in Marysville Washington as we were looking for a full sized heavy duty truck for my work. We met our salesman Nick Buckles who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles he was selling and very informative. We gave him our information on what we were looking for and how much we could spend. He did not one time try to sell us on a truck that was way over our heads, he stuck with our guide lines. This man was AWSOME !!! Nick and the staff worked very hard to make our dream a reality and needless to say we came home with the truck of my dreams !!! The staff at Roy Robinson bent over backwards to make our purchase a very wonderful experience. Most dealerships want to make the sale and move on, forgetting about the friendliness or courtesy but not Roy Robinson, they followed up and went above and beyond expectations. We were so happy and made to feel like family/ friends that we went back to buy a 2016 Tahoe which is currently in the works.
Please, do not pass Roy Robinson up if you are looking for a new Chevrolet or a good used vehicle. If you did you would miss out on one of the best experiences you could have !!!

My experience with the Roy Robinson Chevrolet Dealership was wonderful. I went in to try out the Spark because it looked too small but it was in my price range. I was pleasantly surprised. Being my first new car I needed a lot of instruction on all the technology, my sales rep was very patient and kind. It all went very smoothly. I intend to buy my next car from them as well. After I got home there was something I couldn't figure out. I called the sales rep and he was very kind and new exactly what I was supposed to do. (to turn off the radio just open the door) .

An amazing experience
Wow, buying my first Subaru was an amazing experience. I called three Subaru dealers in the area, none of whom had the model I wanted, but were willing to take a deposit to look for it.
I then called Roy Robinson and talked to Sonny Roberson, I asked if he had the model with the trim level I wanted and he said, "Do I? I have 5 of them!". So we drove down to see him, not only is he a nice guy with a big smile, but when we got there he had the exact car I wanted out in front ready to test drive. Sonny made buying the car so easy, no high pressure stuff, no stalling, asked us how we wanted to arrange financing and took care of it. Talking to the finance person is usually when you get the big upsell, not here, The young lady laid out the options and let us choose whether we wanted any of it without any pressure at all. I couldn't believe how nice everyone we met was, I've never had a car buying experience like this.
This is how car buying should be, we were in and out in less than three hours.

2016 Chevy Cruze
I went in with an Audi that was costing me too much in repairs in hopes to trade in for a used 2011 Cruze. I ended up leaving with a brand new 2016 Cruze. I was very satisfied with my salesman, Nate. He did everything he could to crunch the numbers to my satisfaction.
A breath of fresh air
I went to several local car dealerships and I thought either I was too demanding and unreasonable or I needed to keep looking. Well, when I arrived at this lot, it was a breath of fresh air. I was finally able to purchase a vehicle without any issues. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful, and let me lead them to the car I wanted, at the price I felt was of value to me.
I think they really have a special thing going here, and I will be sending all my friends, family and co-workers (Boeing) to see them.

I only just purchased my Subaru Forester here four days ago, so I'll edit in regards to future service in months to come. This review is based only on the sales/purchasing experience.
Which was EXCELLENT!
I'd run the gamut of salesmen for three days, from high pressure that made me extremely uncomfortable, to a guy who didn't seem to know a thing about the car he was selling, to a guy who didn't seem to care either way. I'd narrowed my list and began the hardcore devil's advocate research, looking for everything wrong with the cars I'd liked. That was when I kept seeing the Subaru Forester as alternatives, and decided after a very bad day to head out and make it my last test drive before deciding on a crossover.
David Moir was my salesman, and I knew I liked him almost immediately. He had a cheerful disposition, full knowledge of the stock, and a personable attitude that made you feel as though you had brought him along to test drive with you instead of one of their sales staff. In no time at all, we were on the road. There was no micromanaging of the route, and he seemed to know when to offer up information at just the right intervals, so you could experience the car without feeling overwhelmed or inundated by a "pitch".
My favorite part of his sales technique was that he made everything feel like it was a magic trick. Instead of telling me something, he'd hand me the keys and, like he was sharing a secret as a magician, say "Now touch the handle." And I felt like a child in wonder as the door unlocked without a key.
What's so silly about this is that, I've had keyless entry in my partner's prius for years, but because this would be MY car, I got to experience the possibility as though it were brand new. Literally, on the brand new car bit. But it made the experience a joy instead of a job, and we left that night with no lengthy pitch, just a brochure and his card, and his hope that he'd see me again.
Buying a car is a long and painful process. The negotiating, the paperwork, the financing, and by the time you get to all that you're still probably pretty exhausted from the other places you've been. But David was a dream. I truly felt like it was US in this together, not me against him. Like he was fighting for me, not against me. I also felt like he was excited for me getting this amazing vehicle, not just excited to be scoring a sale.
This is the experience I wish on everyone buying a car, and the good news is, they're selling some of the best cars in the market, so GO! Go now! Check out their stock, ask for David. Hope that you get Debbie in financing, as well! She's there to sell you on some additional insurance, which I didn't opt for, but they seemed to be pretty good deals. (I'd just hit my budget limit! Eek!) And she was just as delightful, really understanding when I guiltily told her no, I just couldn't add it on.

Calm sensible approach
I really enjoyed working with Roy Robinson Subaru. The calm sensible approach to the process for both sides. My sales rep asked us what we were looking to do, showed us, and then explained some options for us to consider. He spent time learning about the customer wants and needs, including informing the customer of the advantages of the vehicles they have that may fit their needs was refreshing. He showed like new used cars for comparison as well as new. They gave my wife and I time to make decisions. It was a low key friendly polite and professional experience. We made multiple trips and were able to explain our needs and wants. They worked with us on our trade in and understood our position and showed respect. We had a great experience. My wife and I recently purchased a 2016 Outback with the assistance and un-pressured salesmanship of Kelly Adams. He answered all our questions with apparent well informed authority. He was good humored, calm and patient, something we (my wife and I) appreciate during such high stakes sales endeavors. We were probably 90% ready to sign for this car when we drove onto the lot; but after the test drive with Kelly, we knew it was time and our minds were made up. A day after the purchase we received a call from the dealership apologizing for having overlooked one form to be signed. The financial clerk was very sorry and apologetic, and offered to run the form to us at our home, many miles away. I was looking for any excuse to take a drive in my new Outlook, and said I would drive to the dealership instead. For my 'inconvenience' I was issued a free oil change voucher. Friendly and knowledgeable
I just leased a 2016 Subaru Outback from Roy Robinson's... Initially went just to scope it out (was going to come back later to actually get a vehicle) as my 2013 Subaru Legacy lease was up. We managed to walk about 15 feet before Edie appeared. She was amazing! So friendly, knowledgeable and there to be helpful, not pushy! Together we found the perfect vehicle and did a little initial paperwork. I then came back 2 days later to do the rest of the paperwork and to pick up my new car. I'm not sure if that's normal protocol or because I had to remove the added roof rack and Thule on my Legacy, but it was perfect. I didn't walk out of there 3 hours later, annoyed and not excited about my new vehicle because I was just tired. Kara, who helped with the finances, was still smiling (it was about 7:30pm on a Friday by then) and was great. Edie even offered to take a picture of me and my new ride. thank you Edie and Kara!
Kelly was easy to work with, more than accommodating and went out of his way to change his schedule to work with me. He is easy to talk with and very much a low-pressure, observant, and pleasant guy who I find quite relatable. I have known and been buying autos from the sales manager, Heath Bower, for years. Heath has always taken great care of me from signing until its time to move on to the next ride. He proactively follows up and takes care of people from signing through years of ownership, well beyond the initial sale agreements. This was yet again another smooth transaction. Heath was extremely patient with my many, many questions and talked through various scenarios with me to help me find the outcome best for my family and I. More than accommodating
Without going into too much detail all I can say about Roy Robinson Chevrolet is WOW. I'm as hard to please as any customer they have ever had. Had a part replaced on my GMC 2500 a little over a year ago and the part failed. All I could think was "what is this going to cost me now".
I picked up the truck yesterday and " no charge" . I was told that there was nothing I did to cause the failure and that GM stands behind their parts.
It is very refreshing to find a dealership that treats you so fairly. All I can say is "Thank you Butch, you and your crew are the best".

Never have I had a better way of purchasing a car. Our salesman David Moire was easy to talk to. Explained all benefits and upgrades on our new 2016. Just wish had more color choices. But that is all such a little thing. Because I got the car with all I wanted. Christina our financial advisor was easy to work with. Making all those pages of signatures fun. It does feel like a small family business who is there to help you find the right car. Not that hard pressure sales no matter what to sale you a car when you leave.
I came into Roy Robinson Subaru just to test drive a car but was welcomed and treated great so i bought one. Sonny, my sales person, was awesome. He was straight forward about price and what my trade in was worth and why. He was very attentive to me while i waited for the financing to be approved and at the end walked thru the car step by step showing me every feature. I will definitely buy there again!
Took great care of us
Our salesman Bic was great, really went out of his way to get us a great deal. He took great care of us. The sales manager was wonderful and made buying the vehicle very comfortable. I enjoyed not being bullied by them.

David Jennings was my salesman at Roy Robinson- he introduced himself and quickly understood that we were informed buyers looking for my first new vehicle. Rather than attempt to upsell David showed us the car on the lot that most closely represented my few asks and we immediately went inside to work out the details. David was non-aggressive and informative throughout the process, providing transparency in what he could. We were up front that we were looking at other vehicles but thought the forester was the most economical choice. Rather than degrade the other brands we spoke of as other salesman had done at Rairdons, David acknowledged the several positives and wished to make me purchase a vehicle that I wanted and fit my needs. I told him that the vehicle sells itself and the reason we bought on the spot was the friendly attitude and professionalism from start to finish. I would be happy to refer anyone looking for a Subaru to David and by proxy the Roy Robinson dealership and will do so as the opportunity arises. David has offered to be a resource for any questions I may have about the vehicle etc. in the future and thanked me time and time again for my business. I was pleasantly pleased with my visit to Roy Robinson Subaru. I knew I wanted my second car purchase ever to be a Subaru but I was still scared as all-get-out to make such a large decision; to buy something so new. I decided to make a Saturday of visiting Subaru dealerships in the Seattle area. Roy Robinson was my 3rd stop that day and I had already kinda settled on the idea I would return to my first stop that day in Auburn. I knew I wanted something certified/pre-owned with a warranty but had thought i couldn't afford that. What I was going to settle on didn't compare to what Roy Robinson made happen for me! I was helped by Michael Kempter, who in a fatherly way helped me make my decision. After a long day shopping I was still having a hard time explaining what I knew I wanted and what I knew my options were. Michael seemed to get that. He assisted me in coming to a decision that I felt good about. I will also say that he made a true and real effort to help meet my needs. I thank the whole staff that assisted me that day. This car buying experience was very different
Just bought a Subaru Outback and I have to say this car buying experience was very different from previous experiences elsewhere. Jason Peterson is so great to work with - I am very analytical when it comes to big purchases. I take my time (more than a month in this case), analyze my options, check things out, compare features and costs. He was so patient, answered all my calls and questions and spent time with me several times. I never felt pressured and had all the time I wanted to figure out exactly what I wanted. I will recommend this dealership and Jason Peterson in particular to anyone who asks.
Made it easy to get into a new car
I wasn't planning on buying a new car, but Dok Chang made it easy to get into a new car I could afford. He wasn't pushy, and was very helpful and took time to explain how things work. The best experience with him as a salesman other then in past purchases. This was a great, no pressure sale.
The buying process went smoothly and there were no high-pressure sales games. I found a car I like, got a good price on my trade-in, and an excellent finance rate. It was pleasant to be treated as a person, rather than a statistic. I was attracted to this dealership because they had actual car prices on their web site, rather than "contact us for price". We just got our second Subaru here, with Kelly Adams. He is great, no pressure listens to your wants/needs and doesn't pester you about something you don't want. The dealership is clean, and relaxed feeling. Everyone there was super nice, offerings us water and asking if we needed anything. They even have a kids room, our toddler thoroughly enjoyed playing in there. It's a nice option as buying a car isn't a quick thing though Subaru made it fairly quick and easy. They gave us a fair price on the trade in, and the financing lady, I think her name was Brenda, made that process quick and easy even with a upset toddler. Great experience, we will be back again when we need a new car. Highly recommend them, and Kelly Adams for the sales person (he's the only sales guy we've bought with, I'm sure the others are great too.).
Couldn't have asked for a better first time car buying experience
I couldn't have asked for a better first time car buying experience. I was in the market for a Forester, and Roy Robinson Subaru was recommended to me by a family friend. I called in on a Tuesday to inquire if they had a specific model and color and was told that they didn't have one at that moment but would have one for me by the weekend.
When I arrived at my appointment, I was helped by Michael Kempter. Mike made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Mike listened to what I wanted in a car, and there was no pressure to get more than what I was looking for. I was so pleased to come across Jason Peterson, at the Roy Robinson Subaru dealership. After having not one but two bad experiences with Honda of Marysville. I stopped in and bought a pre-owned vehicle from him, It was so easy! I pulled in, told him which vehicle I was interested in and told him I needed it out the door for $10,000, period. Phillip Nice, my Sales Consultant, was very courteous and promptly returned all of my phones calls, expedited the information I requested consistently and followed up with me whenever I had questions about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. 2015 LTZ Chevy Silverado Crew Cab
I had been to 3 other dealers before I went to Roy Robinson in Marysville Wa. From the time I got out of my old truck until the time I left with my new one, everyone there treated me and my family very well. Our salesman was Randy Granger, there was no pressure from him what so ever. He was very helpful with all of my questions. From the time I test drove the first truck till the time I left was about 5 hours. We test drove multiple trucks asked a ton of questions. Never once did he seem annoyed. The best experience
I've had mixed experiences with car dealerships in the past. Too many times I've been told "Well, to get our best price you'll have to come in." Sorry folks, it's 2016; I'm not driving nearly an hour just to get a price on something! Specifically, I want to get the dealer's best offered price quickly via email so I can decide where to buy my next car and complete the sale in a timely manner without wasting a day driving from dealership to dealership. Salesperson Chuck Bagi was very responsive and helpful, communicating efficiently in whatever manner (phone or email) worked best for me. His price and offered trade in value were notably better than the other dealerships near me, and he was helpful, informative and respectful throughout the process. I only had to go to the dealership once to pick up the car and it took about 2 hours which was pretty good considering the paperwork. I've bought cars at four Subaru dealerships over the years and so far this has been the best experience.
Texting with Nick Buckles
I contacted two other Chevy dealerships first, but I was impressed with the texting that went back and forth between myself and Nick Buckles. He was no-nonsense and answered all my specific questions quickly. We took a drive to Marysville the next day and in under 3 hours we drove away with our leased Chevy Cruze. Actually the entire deal was completed in under one hour which is a record! Nick was very thorough, but easy going and knowledgeable. We knew what we were looking for going in and Nick took us right to it. He was very friendly and he spent a lot of time inside our new car, going over all the features, including On-Star. A wonderful touch was that he brought a truck around for us to look at that we were just curious about and told us all the features and even offered to let us test drive that one! I would recommend Roy Robinson and especially Nick to anyone wanting to buy or lease a Chevy!
The service department is accommodating
My past 3 cars have been Subaru's which have always been serviced by Roy Robinson. The service department has been great, explained things very well, never tried to sell me anything I didn't need, and been what I consider very fair with pricing. Their new facility enables them to perform oil changes with no appointment and I've been impressed with their quick service - even when the shop and waiting room is full (the waiting room with coffee, popcorn, TV, wi-fi, 2 computer work stations, and even a place for kids to play). I've added requests mid-service and they've always been accommodating and had a great attitude even though I knew it was a hassle for the technicians and advisors. My most recent visit was right after a visit to the Olympic Game farm. They washed and vacuumed my car after its oil change... with the bits & pieces of 22 loaves of bread completely filling the interior as well as yak, buffalo, and zebra fur and drool all over it. They didn't even blink. Nice!
Much better than other Subaru dealerships
I think this dealership is much better than other Subaru dealership here in great Seattle area. I bought a Forester from Andrew, my dealer. he provided a pretty good deal, without much more negotiation. Even though, he didn't have the exact car with the exact package I was looking for, he got one for me and helped me changed some accessories. Another thing I was so satisfied with is, he responses fast and update status with you very soon. The only time I went to the dealership in person is to pick up the car. Other communication was all did through emails/ calls, super smooth. Subaru Forester is also a nice car. If any of my friend is going to get a Subaru, I'll definitely recommend them Andrew Manseth from Roy Robinson Subaru.

I was extremely satisfied with my car buying experience. I test drove cars with David J and he was very relaxing and informative. I came back later and bought the car with Paul K. Philip Nice answered every question
First I want to start with thanking everyone for what they did here. I was in an accident with my prior vehicle, with a loan still lasting for my vehicle (Until everything was paid off by insurance) and they were STILL able to make a deal work when others couldn't. I was hesitant about new vehicles and looking for used trucks. I started emailing Phillip Nice who answered EVERY question I had and trust me I had ALOT of questions on what to do next.
Long story short I'm now in a brand new 2015 Camaro thanks to Phillip Nice, and Brent (Forgive me I forgot his last name) Everyone there is awesome and seemed very excited for me to get into this vehicle.

Great Car Buying Experience
My first visit was to test drive a Subaru Forester with Jason Peterson in sales. The test drive included city and highway driving as well as hills and plenty winding roads. It was as thorough a test drive as I could have wanted and with no pressure to make a deal. A few days later I requested a quote and the price was the lowest out the door price in Western Washington. And finally, my orientation was detailed and complete. I would recommend Jason and Roy Robinson Subaru to anyone wanting to buy a new Subaru!

We have bought several vehicles here and have all of our maintenance and repairs as well. Their staff has always gone above and beyond in every aspect when we have needed anything. That was proven recently when we were having an issue with a dash light. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for all they did to get us back on the road. Very clean and transparent process
We love Chevrolet and GM. But this is the first time we bought a car where the financial numbers were exactly the same without a bunch of discussion and negotiation when we left the salesman's desk and went back to finance. Putting the customer first
We went to Roy Robinson Chevrolet because my son found a car there that he thought we would like. My son knows I have a very busy schedule and do not have time to "talk cars" for hours. He alerted the dealership that I was interested in test driving 2 specific vehicles. When I arrived, the staff escorted me to the lot where to my surprise, both vehicles I wanted to test were already running, lights and heat on and ready to go. All I can say is that the process that naturally followed exceptional customer service resulted in a sale. Our salesman Chuck patiently answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed or that he had other sales to make next. He contacted me in the way that I preferred and while checking in with us, did not pressure us. Once the sale was made, Chuck sat in the car and helped me set up my OnStar, sprayed Rainex on the windshield before I left and oriented me to the interior. My husband and I dreaded the negotiation process but we really felt that our salesman was not only interested in making a sale - which is his job, but that the sale was one that we could live with and were comfortable making. Exceeded my expectations
My wife and I had been looking for a new Subaru for about 2 weeks. Although Roy Robinson Subaru was a little farther from our home it was well worth the drive. Roy Robinson has the best sales and service. I was looking for a used RV for months. On my second time with Dave Koshak. I was able to fulfill my dreams and purchase a Lexington Forest River RV. I love it! The service department was excellent in taking care of me and explaining everything. Dave was always on hand to help me through the entire process. I originally brought in my car to the shop at Roy Robinson to see why my check engine light was on. It turned out that it needed a lot of work. I ended up purchasing a 2014 GMC Acadia and I absolutely LOVE it! They even had black on black with all the features I wanted. We bought a 2015 Forester from Chuck Bagi at Roy Robinson in August. The car is great and the experience was easy. We liked Chuck and the folks at Roy Robinson so well, we went back this weekend and bought a 2016 Crosstrek from Roy Robinson. We called Chuck ahead of time to let him know we were interested in a Crosstrek, but because of my work schedule I couldn't make it in until about 8:00pm. Chuck said "no problem". He had the car I was interested in out front and ready to test drive when I got there. He answered all of my questions, he gave me the best price first time around without having to keep running back to a manager, he gave us a fair deal on our trade and we closed the deal. Even though we were there until 10:00pm, I never felt rushed and Chuck and the crew were helpful and great to work with. This is the third vehicle I've purchased from Roy Robinson and would definitely recommend their dealership and Chuck Bagi.

I have not purchased a new car since I bought my 2004 Forester and this was the first time I had purchased a car through the internet. Roy Robinson Subaru in Marysville was excellent. David Jennings was an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10! No hassle at all, including the signing of papers. I was in and out of the dealership in about two hours and most of that time was involving in getting a thorough checkout on the car, including a road trip on the freeway. When I shop for a new vehicle I see how the salesstaff treats me. when they pull the "good salesaman, high pressure salesman" I usually turn around and leave. Ian Lugg at Roy Robinson Chevy handled the transaction from start to finish. He listened to what I wanted in a new vehicle and showed me a variety of trucks with various combinations of features that I was interested in. He even wanted to know if i had preference in colors. then he helped me narrow down my choices based on what i wanted until we found just the right one. When I brought my wife in the next day Ian was not there but when his manager called him he rushed in to help us (most other dealers just let someone else take over). again he was very helpful and answered my wife's questions and we then determined that the truck we picked the day before also met with her approval. he then worked with his sales manager to get us a great deal and got us through the financing with minimal stress for us. start to finish it was a good and stress free transaction. Good Customer Service, No Pressure Sales
I recently bought a 2015 Subaru Outback at Roy Robinson. I generally hate buying cars from dealerships as some of dealerships I have gone to in the past where all about high pressure sales and piling on unnecessary extras. I was very happy to have Andrew, our sales person help us with our sale. He was very courteous and listened to what we were really looking for. I didn't feel pressured at all and I felt like there was a generally happy vibe around the dealership. The salespeople were smiling and talking friendly amongst one another. It was just a generally pleasant sales environment all around. I would go back to buy another vehicle in the future.

Buying a car here was very simple. I had gotten into an accident and had to find a car pretty quick and I received fast and friendly help. I was not given any "bs" by the dealer, they were very straight forward which I found the most relieving about buying a car. Mark Miller at Roy Robinson Chevrolet, went above and beyond to help us buy our Equinox. Knowing we had a "want" list, versus need, and that our financial situation was not "optimal" for our want list, he helped us get into a car we love. He made a normally stressful situation into a pleasant experience. We walked away the first time as we were unsure of what we really wanted, after realizing that financially we could not get everything on our want list. I was so impressed with the service and expression of helpfulness at your dealership. I was in town for a conference, and visited the dealership after a sound occurred while driving that I had not heard before. I drove to the dealership from my hotel in Everett and a mechanic looked at my car right away. Fortunately the sound was not a wheel bearing as I had feared, and was a very simple fix. The mechanic said he would check my fluid levels, tire pressure, etc., and fortunately found that I had no rear brakes - not good news considering that I had to drive home to Sandpoint, Idaho. The mechanic showed me everything that needed repairing for which I was very appreciative. I was able to get a loaner so I could attend the conference, and picked up my car in the middle of the afternoon. I was treated with respect and concern, and I left feeling that everyone I dealt with cared about me and my safety. Thank you!

On our initial visit Kelly Adams showed us all the new features in the 2015 and 2016 models of the Subaru Outback in which we were interested and we drove a couple of the models. Since we had not made the decision yet we returned home. Kelly followed up with us over the phone and internet but was not high pressure. When we made our decision he handled the transaction competently and pleasantly.....as did your finance department when we got to that point. We would definitely recommend Roy Robinson to others.

We have two Subies, and have always wanted to provide them the best care through the dealer. After a bad experience at an eastside dealership, I was very worried about taking our babies to another dealership and having the same lack of customer service and disregard for my time.
Roy Robinson's crew at their new Subaru facility changed all that! I'm very glad we found them!
First part was super easy: I used their service scheduling tool, on their website to create a profile and schedule a time to bring in our Legacy for service. The tool had lots of service options to choose from and I was able to request all services with easy.
Second part was even easier: I pulled into their clean, covered service area and was greeted by Tammy M. Tammy met me with a smile and started quickly taking notes as we were talking about my appointment and the service on the car. She was very thorough, and a Subaru tech was waiting very patiently to snag my keys from her and get started on the car. (It was pulling away as she was walking me into her desk, to review my requested services.... that has never happened before)
Tammy quickly and thoroughly reviewed my requested services and the fees associated, making sure that I was satisfied with everything we had talked about. And then... because I hadn't been into RR Subaru before, escorted me to the customer waiting area. She explained the vast, available amenities and made sure I didn't need anything else.
Literally- five minutes later, Tammy found me lounging with a cup of coffee and let me know of a few more items that my Legacy could benefit from (because the tech ACTUALLY was performing the Multi-Point inspection on the car) She asked if I wanted to have those items replaced, and reviewed the additional cost. I agreed that the car did need those items taken care of and she conveyed the "yes" to the tech.
While my car was being serviced, I did decide to check out the lot and stretch my legs. I was approached once by a young lady, making sure I didn't need anything. She smiled when I stated that I had one being serviced and was doing well, while looking around. She politely stated to let them know if I needed anything, smiled, and carried on with her original task.
Total time for the laundry list of items I asked to have done to the car, from pulling in, to paying my bill... 55 mins. Tammy made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns and then walked me to my car. Y'all just won me over for life! :-)
Let's compare that to the last TWO experiences with that eastside dealer mentioned earlier- both times I had an appointment. Both times- my car (once with each of our models) sat for 1+ hour before it was brought into the service area. Both times- were JUST oil changes. One time- I had asked for OEM wiper blades to be installed, and they forgot. Occurrence 1 of 2: my car, time, and patience were abused for 3 hours total (for an oil change???) Occurrence 2 of 2: my car, time, and patience were abused for 4.5 hours total! ( again... I only wanted an oil change: I could have driven to Wentworth Subaru in Portland for an oil change, picked up Case Study Coffee, and been past Vancouver, traveling north in that time) We used to go to said dealer because they were close to work (and home at the time) and to be honest- the service didn't always suck.
My point? NONE of that monkey business from the Roy Robinson team. They care and it shows!

Went to the competition first. I asked about a warranty on the roof of a new 2014 motor-home, there is no warranty the fellow said. He stated I need to climb on the roof every 30 days or so to look for cracks in the caulking around the vents, A/C, and other stuff. Then stated I bring it in and they will fix it, at a charge. Lets see, I'm a disabled 60 plus years old, the ladder holds 225 lbs, I weigh in at 240. Really??? We left, stopped at Roy's where we have bought cars from the age of 16. Looked around, found one, bang done. Tod was very pleasant to work with. Smart guy. Good cook, he even BBQ'ed us lunch.

We purchased our Silverado from Roy Robinson Chevrolet and had a great experience. The main reason I am writing is to give the service department a plug! I am going to copy and paste info from a survey I filled out from our last visit there. Well I guess that the copy didn't work, so here is the jest of it. Completely satisfied! This family owned dealership is doing it right! With great people, a great facility and a great product in Subaru. David Jennings was friendly, patient, informative and efficient. He was engaged in what we wanted to learn and do. At no point were we steered in a certain direction or feel the adversarial relationship that usually accompanies a car purchase. My wife and I went to the dealership a couple times, informed about various models, options and costs. Without being pushy David was still able to provide a level of detail about each model that helped us make our decision. In the end because of the culture and philosophy at Roy Robinson that extends to the sales team I feel we made an informed decision on a great car and as a byproduct became part of the family. I would definitely purchase here again and will tell my family and friends to at least stop by and give them a chance.

So I came in looking at the 2015 camaro ss to make a decision whether or not to buy the camaro or a 2016 Subaru legacy. Well I made the fun decision to buy the camaro and I love the car. Ian was the sales rep that helped me through looking at the car and test driving it. Obviously I fell in love with the car and decided to buy it right there. Ian helped me through the financing process and took really good care of me despite how busy the dealership that day. All my questions were answered and all my concerns were laid to rest. It was a nice smooth process especially seeing I didn't feel I was being pressured into buying. Guess buying a car is easy and pressure free when you're in the market to buy and have narrowed your results to 2 cars, but Ian definitely helped me make the right decision I felt going for the camaro ss. Above and beyond expectations!
This was my first solo vehicle purchase so I was a little nervous. I expected to be bombarded by salesman the second I stepped on the lot but that was not the case. After sufficient enough time to look over the lot, my salesman Brian appeared with perfect timing.. This was the most pleasant sales experience I've ever had. Brian asked questions and got an idea of what I was looking for. He didn't try to push anything I wasn't interested in and truly wanted to help me find a car. After narrowing it down to a couple cars, I made a decision that I'm very thrilled with. Initially, the car was out of my budget but Brian was able to work his magic and get me exactly in my price range. The rest was cake and their staff is very welcoming and friendly. They exceeded all my expectations by far. I would recommend them to everyone...and on top of everything, this was the first dealership I looked at, and I couldn't have had a better experience..so glad I didn't have to shop around..They n ailed it first try... My first experience doing business with Roy Robinson
This was my first experience doing business with Roy Robinson but it will not be my last. I have bought many cars over the years and have experienced all the sales tactics you can imagine, most of which are anywhere from just annoying to down right unethical to say the least. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to not hear a single sales "one-liner" or to not feel pressured through the whole experience. It felt more like a collaboration to make a sensible purchase than anything else. My salesman was Ivar and I also worked with two of the sales managers, Roussos and Brent. These individuals are without a doubt professionals and clearly demonstrate a desire to meet their customers needs. Please understand that they still need to make a profit but at the same time they make very attractive deals for their customers. I would highly encourage anyone shopping for a new or used car to give this dealer a try. If you have been to other stores and been through the back and forth negotiations, had them grind on you for hours with absurd numbers then STOP and go see Ivar and tell him up front what your needs and desires are and he will do his best to make it happen. FYI, I am not associated with the dealer (other than buying two new cars from them on 07/20/15) and they never asked for me to write a review either but after my experience I feel it is the right thing to do. I drove my first Roy Robinson Subaru for many years and 215,000 miles. My car was a well loved Forester. I am tall so safety, reliability, comfort and ease of getting in and out and sitting with head room were all important to me. I took my Subaru in for a small service - by the way the service department is outstanding- and stopped by sales as I had been thinking it was time to consider new or nearly new. Edie listened to my needs, gave me options, and sent me home with a possible style as a loaner on trail, and followed up and answered every questions and concern. She set an appointment that worked around my schedule and made the experience of buying new a pleasure. I drove home with a new Subaru Outback last evening and feel as if I made a new friend. Our Internet sales person was prompt in responding to every request for information never attempting to lure us into the dealership to receive an answer. While he was unavailable the day we purchased our salesperson, Edie, was very professional and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. The sales manager also worked with us to get to our purchase goal and made it possible for us to leave in the perfect car. Never once were we pressured and we were even approached by existing service customers and told about how much they loved their Subaru and Roy Robinson. We will purchase our next vehicle there and refer friends and family. This place knows how to do business.

Bought a used 2011 Nissan Titan from Jason Peterson. I had pre-negotiated the price using a personal auto broker, so there was not haggling. I traded in my Honda Ridgeline and received exactly what I was hoping I'd get. Jason is a very personable sales associate, was very interested us not only as car buyers, but as people inquiring about our personal life and feelings about the purchase. He was also kind enough to share just enough about his own personal life to improve our personal connection and identify with one another. The process was fast, people friendly, facilities outstanding. We signed paperwork with Bev Cain, who was also such a nice person and very efficient. The best car buying experience I have had!
I knew what car I wanted and communicated with Kelly Rayson via e-mail prior to visiting the showroom. He replied promptly and professionally to all my requests. I arranged an appointment. The showroom was spotless and I was immediately offered coffee or a bottle of water. Kelly did not have the exact car I wanted on the lot but did have a slightly different model ready for me to test drive as soon as I arrived. I had decided on the Subaru Crosstrek. We completed the very informative test drive and Kelly had already located the exact model I desired. It took less than hour to take the test drive, determine the fair trade in value for my current car, painlessly negotiate the price and write a check for $500 deposit along with the purchase agreement. I was given a date when the car would arrive but it actually showed up a couple weeks early. When I went to pick up the car Kelly greeted me at the door and in no time I was signing the paperwork. There was NO upselling pressure du ring this process. Kelly gave me a nose to tail tour of the exterior of the car and then a left to right interior tour explaining every feature and control. He even set my phone up to connect to the Bluetooth feature and tested it by calling my number. This entire experience was comfortable and respectful. I got the car I wanted with the service I hoped for. I felt like I was Kelly's only customer which is very unusual at a car dealership. I love my new Crosstrek!!

I recently bought a 2009 Dodge Caliber from Roy Robinson Subaru. I found the vehicle on their website and sent an email inquiring about it. Andrew Manseth emailed me back within an hour. The vehicle was at the detail shop at the time, which he offered to have brought to the lot. I declined, I wanted to allow them to make it all pretty first. Two days later, due to my work schedule I met with Andrew. I must say after a negative experience of high pressure and constant phone calls from another major car dealer, dealing with Andrew and Roy Robinson Subaru was an excellent experience. He wasnt pushy and he didnt hound me at all. I immediately fell in love with the car. After a test drive and showing me the info I needed to make sure the car was in great shape, we started the buying process. It was a wonderful experience. Andrew was helpful and knowledgeable. Halfway through we realized I did not have the insurance I needed to drive the car off the lot that evening. Andrew got me a 24hr number for a broker and after a phone call, I had full coverage and was getting ready to drive my new pretty home! I have to add that my husband and I had our 2 boys, ages 1 and 4 with us. The dealership had a playroom and a great area for them and my husband to wait while I was going through the buying process. All in all I will continue to go to Roy Robinson Subaru anytime my family or I need a vehicle. I will also recommend them to anyone I know that is looking to buy a car.

New to the Northwest
I bought a used VW that I saw on Cars.com from Jason P, so I wasn't intending to go to Roy Robinson (especially for a VW). I was dreading having to go and deal with pushy salesmen, but I had a really easy, hassle-free experience. I never felt any pressure, and got a really fair allowance on my very old, but well-loved car. I was treated with respect and Jason made sure I had water or coffee when I needed it. The negotiating experience was quick and smooth. I've been to dealers where they make you wait for a long time while they discuss numbers with the manager (and probably sports and the weather to kill time), so I was surprised when Jason returned so quickly. I was presented with numbers and asked them to be changed to be within a more favorable range for me, and was accommodated, so we had a deal. The car needs a couple of minor things to be done, and they offered me a very nice loaner for the meantime. The showroom is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the service center is clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend Jason and Roy Robinson to anyone looking for a vehicle. I'm so pleased with my "new" car. Thanks everyone!

She loved the Crosstrek, so long story short we came in for an oil change and walked out with a brand new 2015 Crosstrek, now we both have Subaru's and we could not be happier. First time buyer
This was my first time buying a car and I had gone to a previous dealership before Roy Robinson and the other dealer was just terrible. They would not negotiate or even consider putting me into a new car. They constantly suggested used cars with way too many miles. As soon as I walked into Roy Robinson Chevrolet I was greeted and Brian Russell was ready to get down to business and get me into i car I liked and that was safe for me. He was AMAZING! The very first car he showed me was brand new, no miles and exactly what I was looking for! And I was already excited. But he wanted to show me other options and didn't just rush me into buying. We test drove a few cars and communicated with me on all the features not leaving anything out. I ended buying the first car I saw but I really appreciated the fact that he spent hours with me test driving other cars and making sure I picked the one I was most comfortable with. I never had a salesperson know more about the cars they were selling, like Mike Kempter. Mike was great, he reviewed the owners manual and showed us the features and engine in the car. He took so much time with us. The new building in Marysville, WA is beautiful. We got a grand tour and the garage where the mechanics work on the cars is so clean and organized. A great car buying experience
I want to say my car purchase at Roy Robinson was a great experience. Right away when you walk in the door you are treated with courtesy and respect. The salesman, Jeramy Turner is the guy I worked with. Working with Jeramy was great. I had a budget to stick to and Jeramy worked with me to find a vehicle that I was happy with and would fit my budget. I never felt pressured, very good experience. These guys are 5 STAR all the way.
We recently purchased a certified pre-owned Outback at Roy Robinson Subaru. Our salesperson was Andrew Manseth, and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was attentive and answered all of our questions. During the negotiation process Andrew was very helpful, and we ended up getting a good deal on the car we wanted. The staff here are friendly and really go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy and feel taken care of, at least that was our experience! This is true for everyone we worked with from sales to reception to finance. The process of buying a car can be stressful, but working with people who go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met really makes a difference. In addition to the great customer service, we are super happy with our new car and expect to have it for a long time. It is also nice to know this a full-service dealership, so the excellent service will continue long after the papers are signed. We would definitely recommend this de alership to anyone and would return if we had it to do all over again.
Purchasing through Roy Robinson was my first car buying experience from a dealer ever. Talk about a stressful experience trying to find a dealer that I liked. As soon as I called and met with Jason Peterson that stress lifted immediately. I originally called just to see if the used 2012 Civic was still in stock, which it was. Jason gave me his name and told me to just give him a ring or swing by when I was ready to view the car. It was no pressure, no "NEED to get in right this second to make sure it's still here" type of deal. My family and I arrived and found the vehicle on our own before anyone had a chance to get there. Within a few minutes someone asked if we needed help and I asked for Jason. The salesman brought us inside (it was raining) and they gave us some umbrellas to go back out with. After we viewed it for a second or two Jason offered to take it into the showroom where we could get a more dry view of the car. He provided a car fax and locale info on the car. He was super relaxed and gave us distance to do our thing. Meanwhile he also went back in to check with another customer he was dealing with. Upon returning we told him we had a few other cars to check out before making a decision. His mannerisms and professionalism didn't change at all, he remained super polite and thanked us for coming in. Side note- The new dealership is absolutely incredible. Everything was perfectly clean, kids room is a huge life saver, and just all around a friendly environment. I was ready to move in, haha.
We returned the next day, pulled up and told him we were ready to buy. He was super helpful through the purchasing process. He walked us through each step, and made it really hassle free. With him I had no worries about anything, at all. Everything wrapped up smoothly and very quickly. After all said and done I had remembered that the windshield wiper blades were going bad, and asked if we could get them changed. He told me not a problem and that he would call me next day (by this time it was 9PM and the family was hungry, haha). Sure enough the next day he called and I swung by to grab them. The cool thing is that he changed them himself, I know it's not a hard job, but some people would push that onto someone else. All in all, Jason made a nerve-wracking and stressful few days a breeze, and changed my perspective on the car buying experience. But, if there's anything that I can truly say about this dealership as a whole, it's that they care. I say this because on the second day there, a very apparent homeless man came riding up on his bicycle to the front doors where a salesman was. The man mumbled something (that I couldn't hear), and what happened next blew my mind. Instead of blowing him off, or telling him to scram, the salesman walked back inside to grab a tool and helped the man fix something on his bike. He even stood there for quite a while talking to him. It may be insensitive or judgmental of me to say I didn't expect that, but I didn't. These days it's just too common for people to only care about themselves. It's things like this that will keep me coming around. Thank you Jason, and Roy Robinson, I will be back!

We are another set of buyers from the Olympic Peninsula - Port Angeles. We were interested in buying a used Winnebago motorhome and looked at several models in Sequim before travelling to Marysville. I went into Roy Robinson Subaru knowing absolutely nothing about Subaru's. I told Kelly Adams that I was just looking but was not ready to buy yet. He spent 1-2 hours patiently answering my questions and showing me different models of Subaru's. He took me out on test drives in both the Forester and the Outback and again answered my (endless) questions. I was going to buy a Volvo and told my wife I would stop at Roy Robinson Subaru and see if they can give me a better deal. I live in Marysville and have bought several cars from Roy Robinson over the last 20 years and wanted to give them a chance for my business in my own hometown. Had a very good experience purchasing a Winnebago View 24M. We had researched the features of the View 24M and similar alternative makes and models, via the internet. Saw that Roy Robinson RV Center had a View 24M on lot, offered at a very competitive price. We drove the 250 miles from Eastern Washington to check it out. Our salesman, Dave Hayes, and the support staff at RR were helpful and accommodating. Together, they explained the features as we asked questions. They gave us time alone in View 24M to explore/evaluate the features, checking in periodically to ensure we weren't feeling neglected. Once we decided to purchase, they expedited the process of preparing the motor home for transfer, completing a process in several hours, that typically is completed over several days. This allowed us to take the View 24M with us that evening, saving an additional trip across the state.

Love a Newby
We recently bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze from Roy Robinson. The 1st salesperson to talk to us was Ian Lugg. He was great to work with and new to the dealership. We really didn't know what we wanted but he was quick to suggest we drive the ones that we were interested in. I usually send my husband to the dealerships because the salespeople can really be aggressive in their approach and generally just make me angry. Well Ian did a wonderful job. And when he didn't know the answer to some of our questions, he went and asked someone else. All in all it was probably the best experience at an auto dealership we've had. And a big thank you to Mike Mauer for all the helpful information on the digital information center. Mike got us all set up with Onstar and even added the app to my smart phone. First time Subaru buyer
I had been mulling the purchase of a Subaru for a few years now and after much research I bought a 2015 Forester for my wife at Roy Robinson Subaru in Marysville, Wa. They originally didn?t have the color and interior combination my wife wanted, but if there was one anywhere nearby, they will be able to find it for you, as they found the one we wanted at a nearby local dealer and had the car delivered the very next day. Michael Kempter sold us the car and the service we had was excellent and I would rate it at a 10. We had test drove a few different cars before deciding on the level of trim and accessories and Michael was very patient giving us all the time we needed to make the best choice for us. He also gave us a nice tour of their new facility and was introduced to the parts and service folks. I would rate my overall buying experience including the behind the scenes processing of the paper work with the finance manger excellent and a low pressure, friendly experience. Hig hly recommend them to anyone, local or in the Puget Sound region, worth the drive.
I'm not buying my Subarus anywhere else but here!
I already have an '09 Forester, and I needed another brand new one to add to my family. After looking online and negotiating with dealerships that were much closer, I wasn't satisfied with what I was seeing with inventory and salesmanship. After seeing good reviews about Roy Robinson online, and seeing that they had the color and trim that I wanted, I decided to just drive over and see what they had. I was kindly and energetically greeted by Chuck Bagi immediately, and shown the exact car that I wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable about Subarus, which was nice, and he didn't talk down to me as I am a young woman buyer, which was refreshing. I love cars and have bought a handful of them (6) in my life, and I have never had such a splendid and easy time negotiating for my new car. Chuck made it fun, easy, and I will never go anywhere else again. I highly recommend this dealership, and already have, to anyone who is looking for a new Subaru.

Purchasing a used car
I have had many cars in my lifetime, and dealt with every type of car salesman. I thought the best one was when I purchased my 2005 Chevrolet Equinox. This time was even better! Kelly is the very best! He asked what I was looking for, and then pointed out what was available in my price range and interest. NO Pressure! He did give his opinion regarding my choices, which were appreciated. After all, he knows the cars better than I do. I won't be buying any more cars, but will rely on Roy Robinson for service. I was looking for a 2014 Subaru STi hatch and Roy Robinson was the closest dealer that had one. I tried to go through the Costco program, but I was not able to for two reasons: 1. Roy Robinson would not do a dealer swap. I don't blame them, the dealership I was trying to go through did not have any thing that was similar to trade with. 2. There is no price breaks for 2014 STi's, there is a possibility that in the future they (2015+) might be eligible. When I arrived, it was VERY low pressure and the first salesman i met, took me to Woody, since he was the guy to called me earlier this week. I was surprised by the fact that I was able to go on a test drive since a lot of places don't let you drive a STi, and we went on the preset loop, and he was willing to go as long as I wanted too! After a quick test drive we went back and started the paperwork. I was pre-approved for a loan through my credit union, and Roy Robinson was able to really beat my be my pre-approved rate by a lot. I was in and out in 3 hours, and this was one of the smoothest dealership transactions in my life. I will be back to Roy Robinson if I ever need another car.

Looking for a used car
I recently purchased a used vehicle from Roy Robinson Chevrolet. I live north of Bellingham and went to test drive the vehicle. Afterwards I returned home to consider the purchase. The next day I decided to try to purchase the vehicle. I negotiated the deal over the telephone with Rob Plate. Rob did an excellent job overseeing and ensuring that every aspect of the deal was honored when I drove back to the dealership to make the purchase. Rob did all of this on his day off ! I would like to recommend if you are looking to make a purchase, ask for Rob. Give him a chance as he worked hard to earn my business and am sure you will get the same level of effort.... seems to be the kind of guy he is.

I found your dealership by Costco. I started communicating with Kelly Adams via e-mail. After two weeks of emails, I came in to your dealership. Originally looking at Imprezza's and then switched to the Ourback. Kelly was great to work with. It was a busy day and I took hours to finally firm up my selection. Very pleased with our purchase and salesman
We had an excellent sales experience with our salesman Randy Granger. This is our 2nd Subaru purchase through Randy in the past year, and our 3rd total Subaru purchase through Roy Robinson (dating back to 1996). Overall we have been very pleased with Roy Robinson. We have also used the parts department several times and the Parts staff is great as well. All of the staff is helpful without being pushy. I do not like "high pressure" car salesman and I never felt pressured during the sales or financing purchase in any of our 3 purchases. Subaru is a strong brand and Roy Robinson is an excellent dealership. They have a "small-town" friendliness, but the benefit of a large town selection of vehicles. Our friends who we have encouraged to purchase from Roy Robinson have also been pleased. The only small negative is it took awhile during our last two purchases to actually get into the financing department. Multiple sales staff feeding into a smaller number of finance people does cre ate a choke point in the finance process. It would be nice to find some way to speed up getting into finance after a car is selected. Once we were into finance, the finance staff was wonderful to deal with, and again, not pushy. The wait wasn't a big deal though and not enough for me to deduct anything from the 5 star review. I fully intend to purchase future cars from Roy Robinson and strongly recommend our salesman, Randy Granger.
Great start and finish, but...
Okay, I gave them 5 stars because they recovered well. Dave Koshak is an excellent sales person to deal with and you couldn't find a more pleasing sales experience. Now, when we were delivered the vehicle, we immediately experienced problems. An oil fire from a leaking gasket caused the cabin and hood to fill with smoke on the drive home. I immediately called Dave and he dispatched a tow truck, brought a loner, and paid for our meal. The next day they (Roy Robinson) found the problem, fixed it, and cleaned the engine bay and car up. Dave personally delivered the vehicle to us, but on the way to our house he discovered a squeal in the engine bay, so he took it back to the dealer and let us stay in the loner. They discovered the problem was an oil contaminated serpentine belt. They replaced it, and Dave again personally delivered the vehicle and this time was able to take the loner back to Roy Robinson. None of the problems with the vehicle were Roy Robinson's fault, I felt after the fact. I was displeased to say the least at first, but Roy Robinson did what they should have done to recover the situation and did it well, so 5 stars to them and Dave Koshak. I would recommend this dealer, Roy Robinson, and especially Dave Koshak as your sales person. Plus they are going to have a beautiful new facility in the summer time.

Easiest buying experience EVER!!!
After a TERRIBLE experience at a Chevrolet dealership in the Bremerton area (not Port Orchard) on February 21 we were somewhat apprehensive about continuing our search for a 2014 3500HD crew cab, long bed Duramax. We thoroughly did our homework on searching for the perfect truck for our family and lifestyle and we were prepared to purchase a new truck. While the other dealership completely dropped the ball, Kelly at Roy Robinson Chevrolet went above and beyond to make our truck buying experience THE ABSOLUTE BESTauto buying experience we have ever had. I actually purchased the truck via a verbal "handshake" over the phone. We live about 2 hours away from Marysville so his extra efforts in negotiating, taking photos, spending time describing in minute detail and answering every single one of my questions thoroughly made me confident we were making an informed decision. We would absolutely recommend this dealership based on our experience.

I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze from Michael Kempter and he was so helpful. Robyn was the woman who processed the finance paperwork, and she was very sweet and funny. Roussos, the Chevy Manager greeted us when we arrived to make the final purchase, such professionalism. I also received an email from Mark King, the General Manager to make sure we were receiving good service and I couldn't be MORE pleased. The service department is able to get me scheduled, get me in on time on date scheduled and on the road in less than 1 hour. Silverado HD 2500 purchased at Roy Robinson
I purchased my 2014 Silverado at Roy Robinson recently and had a great experience. The Sales person, Kelly Rayson was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to assist us picking out the right truck to going over all the bells and whistles that come on the truck. The Service department was great getting us in right away to install running boards for our 4 wheel drive to make it easier for my wife to get up in the truck. All the service from the salesman to finance was excellent right down to the service department run by Butch Smith was excellent and very friendly.

From day one Jason Peterson was extremely helpful, I was in the discover phase and had contacted several Chevrolet dealers nobody was as diligent as Jason and if he was not available he had made sure that there where a college that could help. I had to factory order since I had special request a long process, made better due to Jason and the dealership. Jason was the kind of sales associate you want to do business with, informative -followup-no pressure sale pitch. If you want a Chevrolet go to Roy Robinson and talk to Jason you will not regret it. A Wonderful Car Buying Experience!
I have been looking for a new car for several months. I finally decided on a Subaru, Forester. I called several local dealerships and spoke with several sales people, and all of the were very helpful and attentive. Jason Peterson, who is a Roy Robinson employee was able to find the car of my dreams on their lot. I told Jason that I wanted a Forester Limited, and I told him the price that I was comfortable with. I stressed that I wouldn't pay anymore than the amount I indicated. Jason was patient and conscientious. He found me the perfect car! He spent a long time telling me about the car, and Roy Robinson's customer philosophy. I was totally impressed. He is an energetic and attentive sales person. I appreciate that I wasn't rushed and I felt that he really took his time and made sure that I got everything I wanted. All the employees I met were very helpful and friendly. I was referred to Roy Robinson from a friend. Brent was my saleman and he was fantastic! He knew everything there was to the entire buying process. He helped me with every little detail. Excellent customer service, from the General Manger Mr. Mark King on down to the Subaru Sales Manager Brady Dickson to the young man who showed my wife the 2014 Forester and got her familiar with all the buttons, Mike Mauer he did a fabulous job, and told us if there were ever any questions to make sure and give him a call. Tom "Woody" was a great salesman to work with. He made buying my blue 2014 WRX hatch absolutely pressure free and showed sincere commitment to making the buying process go as easily as possible. We got a great price from this dealership, from the major issues, down to the little ones. He made sure that the car was clean, even after it came out from being washed, he had a soft cloth to wipe away any excess water etc. I wish nothing but best of luck for this man in his career and when I look for another car, I will definitely make sure to contact him first.

The discussions and e-mail discussions prior to the actual purchase were honest with timely responses. After thoroughly doing my research I decided Roy Robinson was where we wanted to do business - price, local dealer, friendly sales people were key factors. And having the right vehicle in stock was the clincher to the deal. This was our first buying experience at Roy Robinson. I have never experienced such an efficient and thorough conclusion to a car purchase. The finance department had the paperwork ready to sign in less than an hour. My wife and I were under some time constraints and we were there less than 2 1/2 hours total before we drove our brand new Suburban LTZ home.

In May 2002 I purchased a used Chev. S-10 from your Marysville lot. Since then I have had your shop service my truck whenever necessary. The option of having a loaner car supplied has been a convenient and necessary option in providing me with transportation while my vehicle was being serviced. I have always received excellent and professional care and I am very grateful for staff members like "Woody" Wordward who knows me and my truck over the phone, and Ryan Jolly who has taken care of me many times as well over these years. Recently, as of 8/2013 it was necessary to once again have my truck serviced to handle an unplanned breakdown.My hats-off to the entire crew at Roy Robinson for the high-end quality care and service that I personally received during this last repair episode, which caught me off guard and I was lucky to make it back home from a distant camping trip. In spite of the shops' heavy repair schedule, the staff made the time to evaluate my problem, provide a loaner car, order parts and make repairs. After I checked my truck in for service, I wondered over to the sales department to just have a quick look around. I was introduced to Jodi Dormaier who listened to my truck situation and gently guided me to take a look at purchase options on the lot. I left my truck for service and drove away in a wonderfully kept used 2005 Subaru Forrester!! I am also grateful to Jason Peterson who stepped in and took care of my broken key fob problem and the repair of a broken door actuator on the Subaru. I have been buying cars since 1973, at least one per year and sometimes several. My recent experience when I simply purchased an 11 year old "yard truck" was without question the absolute best in my lifetime. I was treated like an actual family member. The fact that I wasn't going to purchase a new or high value auto had no bearing whatsoever on the time and effort given to be by Rick Berg. I got one of the best deals ever and was allowed to review several pieces of inventory and drive each one and all just to purchase a low dollar "yard truck". It was unbelievable. I will never go anywhere else in my lifetime to purchase an automobile or an RV. Uased car and Good deal
HI I have thought about A Subaru for couple of years. I went in to look at RV , Via the back of the lot, because of past experience's I spoted the the subaru and it's low price. It was in good shape and better than MY Ford turtle ( Taurus SE ), and I had spent , made many repairs to Taurus but wanted newer ride. The Subaru had same amount of miles, as Taurus. I like the Out back look and it's storage and options. I walked around the lot looking at others, but came back to Subaru. I walked past sales person and he just said hello, and wasn't pushy. I came back through and asked about 2002 Subaru, took for test and sat down in fourty minutes had deal worked out. We had some laughs and jokes. I left paying what I was willing to pay, cash sale. Over all It was easy and liked Jeramy personally. Buying matts and parts for basic repaires fix head light lenses and cut polish paint. Thanks so much.

I had done much preliminary research concerning my purchase through USAA before arriving in the area. I had pretty much made up my mind on a Suburu, but was still comparing brands. I went to Roy Robinson because it was convenient and I had some repair work and service there in the past, so I had a favorable view going in. Jodi Dormeirer met me in the parking lot and because the salesperson I had contacted on the web was not available, she took over. The experience was great. After two test drives, I was hooked on a Suburu and brought my wife back the next day. We drove home in an Outback. The price was right, sales service quick and efficient. During the process, Jodi was attentive, understood my positon and was good at what I see as the normal price negotiations. I would definately recommend both Jodi and the dealership. I will return for service.

Second Great Experience
I bought my first Camaro from Randy Granger a year and a half ago. It had it's quirks but the dealership addressed each and every issue promptly, without question, and with a minimum of down time for me. The rattle in the convertible top was the most persistent issue, but they never gave up and after driving me nuts for 6 months, I finally tricked it into rattling for them. It was fixed in less than 24 hours! :-) As much as I enjoyed my first Camaro, I am not a convertible person, so eventually it was time to trade. I contacted Randy and he started looking for my next car - a Camaro coupe. I wasn't sure whether the timing was right or not, but Randy and the team he works with were able to secure a great deal for me on the car of my dreams! As of today, I drive a Camaro coupe and I may go sleep in the garage with it tonight! :-) I couldn't be happier! I can't recommend Roy Robinson, and Randy Granger specifically, enough. From the moment I called the first time to delivery of my new Camaro today, the experience was absolutely perfect! The rest of the staff is personable and they take the time to get to know you as a customer. Ryan Jolly, Tom "Woody" Woodward, and Butch Smith in the service department took excellent care of me and my first Camaro. I recently visited Roy Robinson to get my husband's truck serviced. While I was there I took a look around the lot at a possible replacement for my 2013 Legacy. The sales person who helped me with the Legacy was in, so I asked him if he could show me a couple of different SUV's. Mike was right on it, he showed me both the Chevrolet and Subaru models, pointing out all the great features of both brands. When I confided in him that I was just not happy with my Legacy, he said "well you should get what makes you happy" and proceeded to show me several other vehicles. When I said that I was looking at Mazda and Honda, he led me straight to the Outback and gave me all the great reasons why the Outback would be the car for me. I told him I would go home and let him know. Well a few hours later I called and said, "let's do it" He and Brady got together worked out all the paperwork and when they had me come in I was in and out in less than an hour! The Outback fit my needs perfectly. I love it! It is exactly what I wanted, it won't be going back anytime soon. If you want a great car buying experience, go see Roy Robinson. Great experience. No pressure from Brodie. I test drove a Ford and a Subaru, there was no pressure to by the Subaru even though that is what Roy Robinson specializes in. He understood my wants/needs in buying a used car. He and the finance dept. worked with my budget. My family was taken care of by the staff. The games/toys for the kids in the waiting room could use some improvement or more of them.

Last week my son who is 18 and just graduated from highschool and I went on a search for a good used truck for his trek to college this fall clear over to Walla Walla University.First we did alot of searching on the internet, and decided to drive up to Mt Vernon to take a look around but sadly we got terrible hard sell pressure . It was mom and son doing our best alone trying to get a good deal and hoping not be targeted as the inexperienced vehicle shoppers we were.All we wanted to do was take a test drove and suddenly we were signing on the dotted line.Very scarey and we left quickly looked at another few a car lots and I then suggested driving down to Marysville to Roy Robinson for a look. My son was worn out from this new stressful experience of truck looking and the hard sale so he said I can't stand all the pressure mom yet we ended up driving down to Marysville after all just for a look. As we drove in the truck area my son saw a previous owned truck he took real interest in he really liked how it looked.We parked to look it over and immediately over walked our sales person Brodie Howe , who was really interested in helping us find out every thing about the truck we were interested in, car fax, the asking price, blue book value,just every question we asked was knowledgely answered with no pressure, There was even time for my son and I to talk privately together .He went with my son on a test drive,it changed my sons feelings about high pressure for there was none from Brodie.I also felt that at Roy Robinson there was a very large selection of previous owned trucks to pick from where some of the dealerships we went to had 1 or 2 used trucks not really enough to choose from.So we went home to think it through over night and it all turned out excellent for I surprised my boy with the excellent priced truck and it was a wonderful purchasing experience. Competative Pricing, Friendly Staff
Mike our salesperson was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There were no high pressure sales tactics used and infact we test drove the Outback 4 months prior and came back to Mike after we sold our current vehicle. The initial quote was higher than 2 other dealers, but they quickly came back and said they would match those offers no problem. It has only been a week since we purchased, but so far so good and Mike has been in contact with me regarding some options that will be installed in the near future. I appreciate his follow-up and overall customer service.
Used RV purchase- excellent service
We recently made a very big purchase- a used 39 foot diesel pusher class A motorhome. This was a major financial decision and a potentially very stressful process. Our salesman at Roy Robinson RV in Marysville was Ray Arsvold He was very low-pressure, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional throughout the entire process. Ray basically gave me a driving lesson in this bus-like vehicle and made me feel confident. We feel that we got a very good deal on the motorhome and our trade-in. When we picked up the motorhome the delivery process was outstanding. Bill in the service department spent about 3 hours going through every detail of the motorhome and had obviously spent a lot of time preparing for the delivery. He had discovered a number of items on this used coach that needed to be addressed. He had either already fixed them or had ordered the needed parts. We were not aware of most of these items. We could not be happier with the level of service received. We were also assured that if/when we have questions or concerns help is only a phone call away. We have cards for a number of people throughout the dealership and are confident that we are not alone in learning to drive and live in this overwhelming house on wheels. Im a woman in my fifties, newley divorced from a man who did all the car purchases in our 30yrs together. I felt like I would have a target on my forehead going to a dealership. Infact I had such a bad experience at the Kirkland used Subaru dealership, I almost didn't make the drive out to Marysville. Boy am I glad I did! Dave Koshak was friendly, knowledgable and his genuine enthusiasm for Subaru was catchy. Most important for me, was that he was not pushy at all. Dave listened to my needs and budget. after test driving several cars, I bought a crosstrek. Although the vehicle was amazing, I missed the cargo space from my traded in SUV. After a week of driving the crosstrek, I left a message on Daves voicemail stating I had made a mistake. He called and e-mailed me that night from home. He was genuinely concerned that I wasn't happy. This was Memorial weekend and Dave had the weekend off Dave insisted on coming in anyway, saying it was his pleasure! He was there for 6hrs, helping me! This was above and beyond! I ended up purchasing a 2014 Forrester! and I couldn't be happier! this vehicle is awesome! It has all the room wanted in an SUV but doesn't drive like one. It's almost like driving a sports car.The electric lumbar support and heated seats make driving this an experience in back therapy. Without his knowledge, patience, understanding, coupled with the exceptional ability to present the highest of quality of expertise in presenting every aspect of information required to make our overall experience that day the best ever, we do not believe we would have been otherwise capable to make the informed decision that provided us with driving home our new Outback. He is most definitely a significant attribute in RR's staff, at least in our experience. As with most car shoppers its typically a stressful ordeal for the most part, but not so with Mike. He immediately took the air out of any anticipated pressure we arrived with. Great Sales Who Listened to Customer
I bought a new Legacy from this dealer without test drive! This is my first Subaru, and I am as happy as I got my first BMW when I first drove it after I bought it. I don't need to tell you why you want a Subaru, they are all the same anywhere. I need a car for my wife to do grocery shopping and my winter commute car. We need a 4WD with auto transmission that comes with the lowest price among different manufactures. Honestly, I am very frugal (it's fine to say "cheap") and there was no better choice in terms of functions, specifications, and prices. I don't feel bad about being cheap when it comes to money; every dollar counts. And it is more than okay to tell Randy Granger that I wouldn't spend $20 dollars more in my monthly payment on the car I want. Randy actually not only listened to me, but delivered the result. I went through pretty much every dealer in 50 miles radius of Everett, I've got to spend the dollar amount I wanted to, but with much better car than I expected to have. It just would not have happened without Randy and Roy Robinson. If you care about your pocket and enjoy your Subaru, you have to check out this dealer before you take out your wallet.
Best car buying experience
I went to Roy Robinson three times to test drive cars and every time the salesman were helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. I conversed with Mark Miller over email and he answered all my questions. I bought a car this weekend and Mark made the experience easy and really was the best car buying experience I have had. The finance lady was great too!
Great Salesperson and Excellent Service
Mike Maurer is an excellent sales person. He listens to what you are looking for in a car. He assists you when and where needed but does not oversell you. I was not in the market for a "new" car and he did not push me to look at or drive one. This is excellent when you can not afford a new car at that moment. He allowed me to test drive the car without him riding along. This made me feel special and trusted. He was fair when it came time to present my offers to the management. He stood up for me and respected my request that I take the car to my shop to be inspected. When my shop found some needed repairs, he checked with the Roy Robinson shop to see if they could do the repairs for less. When the RR Shop could not - he informed me to take it to my mechanic. The manager was fair in reducing the cost of the vehicle for the most important repair so that I could have it done immediately. The whole experience was pleasant and cordial. I will definitely buy another vehicle from Mike in the future. I know that he will listen to me again and provide excellent advice when that time comes. Please contact him with all you car needs because he will respect you and your time.
Wonderful car buying experience
I just recently purchased a new Subaru from Roy Robinson. Previously I had been to other dealers and I left feeling insulted because of their customer service. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jodi who did a wonderful job showing me cars without pushing me towards a purchase. Traveld from the Eastside - It was well worth it
Last summer I purchased my first vehicle on my own. This was a big step for me as I was completely green eyed to the whole car buying experience. I decided that I wanted a Subaru Impreza, but not just any Impreza, it had to be THE perfect one with everything I wanted in it. I searched every Subaru dealer in the PNW and Portland area for a month. When Roy Robinson got that car in, I didn't hesitate. I am very proud to say that I bought my car from Roy Robinson, I live on the eastside and it was quite a trip to come up here. But it was well worth it. I worked with Josh Ip who's was cool, calm, collective and most importantly knowledgeable. He know all the right questions to ask and most importantly made me feel confident in the car buying experience. The paperwork process was very painless and when it was all said and done he walked me through made sure he was 100% thorough in answering any and all of my questions. After I got in my shiny new car, I drove off and screamed that this beautiful machine was mine. You know a dealer has a good reputation when you go into near buy sandwich shop and the gals working behind the counter were singing their praises as well. "My whole family get's their cars there," she said, and I can see why. Since August 2012, Josh has continued to go above and beyond, by sending me a holiday card - WHO DOES THAT? It made me smile. I would HIGHLY recommend Roy Robinson the next time you buy a car. I am really bummed I don't live closer to the dealership so I could take advantage of getting my car serviced there. But if I am up in that area and have an auto need, I would be more than happy to pay a visit.

After my previous experience with Carter Subaru in Shoreline, WA (see my Carter Subaru review on subaruoutback forum under Dealership Review), I was not looking forward to trying to buy another new car. I started by checking reviews and asking for recommendations. A Tech at the local Smart Service business recommended Mike Kempter at Roy Robinson Subaru in Marysville. Even in my initial correspondence with Mike, I was impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism. We met with Mike and were impressed with his product knowledge and willingness to discuss the pros and cons of every option. He was even willing to point out why you might not want a certain option, such as using your phone instead of the navigation system. When have you ever experienced a salesperson that was more focused on you getting the most for your money and not trying to get most of your money? When it came to the actual purchase, I asked about their delivery and detailing process. He let me know that Roy Robinson uses mitts and hand washing. When you see the pictures of the damage from brushes posted in the other review, you will see what a huge difference this makes. When I told him about that experience, he expressed understanding of how difficult it must have been and offered to have me oversee the detailing process to remove any stress or fears of any damage happening in this buying experience. They did not have the car I wanted on the lot, so I ended up ordering it. It came early and Mike invited me down. When I got there, he had notes on the car about not removing the protective film or detailing the car without the customer present. This was a great example of living up to what they say they will do and going the extra mile to make the customer experience as positive as possible. After my previous experience, I decided to leave nothing to chance and to oversee the detailing process. I thought that it would be uncomfortable to be there while the guys detailed the car, but every single person was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. As each person came by, Mike introduced them to me. I could not get over was how everyone I met seemed real and friendly. This was a huge contrast from my other recent experience. There were also no surprises or changes to the price and the final paperwork went smoothly. When Mike did the final walk through of the car with me - talk about impressive! I could not believe how much he knew about vehicle. He also had a great ability to provide an understanding of tons of features on the vehicle. He was really good about pointing out the things you would not even think about, such as how to hook the cargo floor lid, hide/store the cargo area cover and unlatch the center seat belt. He even turned down certain sounds in the navigation system that are way too loud by default. In my past car buying experiences, when I've driven off the lot, the salesperson is no longer very attentive unless you come in to buy another car. Not so with Mike. He did a great job following up. I also sent him questions after the purchase and he has gone out of his way to find answers or help me out. You will see from my other post that I am very honest about both positive and negative experiences. I posted pictures so you can compare with my other review (see my Roy Robinson review on subaruoutback forum under Dealership Review) and see the dramatic difference between the quality of the cars from the two dealerships. I hope both of my posts save you from going through what I experienced at Carter Subaru and take you straight to a positive experience with Mike Kempter at Roy Robinson Subaru. Be sure to let Mike know you saw this post about their quality and service so they know it is making a difference and it matters. Great Place to Buy a Vehicle
This our second time we have bought two new vehicles within a couple of days of one another. 11 years ago we came in looking for a "good" used truck. We were met by Brian Russell, and not only did we buy a great used truck that lasted 252,000 with limited repairs, we also bought a great used Tahoe for myself. We returned last week because both of our vehicles were high mileage and we needed to buy new cars. We asked if Brian still worked there and he greeted us like family. He remembered us and the whole story of 11 years ago. The first day we bought a Subaru Outback, and Brian worked with us professionally, but also with good humor. We actually have fun buying our cars, and Brian is tops with his personality. All the people we dealt with that day were friendly and professional. Robin in finance was a very knowledgeable and very helpful to us.

I bought my wife a Subaru and she just finished her survey. Three days later we returned and traded in our truck that I bought at Robinson Chev 11 years ago. Brian Russell was great to work with, just as he was 11 years ago. We received a fair trade in on our old truck and felt we received a fair price on our new Chevy Crew Truck. Brian is not only professional, funny, but works hard to make the buying experience of a vehicle "fun"................no stress, no pressure. Pleased with the entire purchase process
I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the car, the service, and the entire purchase process. We are new to the area and tried 5 other lots around Everett and Marysville before deciding to come to Roy Robinson. I was a little intimidated by the size of the lot but found out not all large car lots are not created equal. We bought a car a year ago from a large lot in Olympia when we lived farther south and it was a nightmare. We constantly felt "on the spot" and "cut-off in conversation."This time was vastly different and for that reason I have been gladly telling all my friends, family and co-workers to shop and get service at Roy Robinson. It felt like we were given as much time and respect that was needed without being pressured. I was already aggitated from a full day of car shopping and actually cut you off a few times (according to my wife) and your were patient and professional and got us more than we though we could get in our price range. Then, the finance lady was super chill and didn't pressure us about get warranties we didn't need, she simply presented our options and we decided. You guys even took care of a bunch of service items after the sale at no cost to me: new front brake pads, headlight, a worn trunk mechanism, etc.
My experience with Subaru itself has yet to be written as I have had my car less than a week. Mike Mauer, my salesperson, was courteous and let me do the looking without pressure. I took the Imprezas, automatic and standard shift out for a test drive. The pickup on either vehicle is amazing. If the Subaru lasts as long as my still running Chevrolet (16 yrs) I will be a happy camper indeed. Mike was pleasant and knowledgeable, with no pressure attitude. I have yet to use the service department, but, if they are as good as sales, I will be recommending this dealership. Contact me in a year and see if I feel the same.

Couldn't be happier
I bought my 2007 Cobalt SS and couldn't be happier with both the car and the service I received. The sales people were friendly and very accommodating for the entire purchasing experience, I never felt uncomfortable or pressured. They didn't try to trick me into buying a different car that I couldn't afford, I am an all around satisfied customer and would gladly buy my next car from this dealership.
Since Aug 2011 We have purchased a 2011 Traverse, a 2011 cruze, a 2013 Subaru Forrester, a 2013 Equinox,a second 2013 Equinox, and a 2013 Volt from your fine establishment. I do not fully understand why we are caught up in this buying frenzy but we suspect some sort of hypnotic spell cast onto us by one Brent Castano! Whenever we come in for a oil change or give a friend a ride to your dealership Brent appears (are there more than one of him?) and like magic we buy a car. I guess the moral of the story is to only show up on the days that the Brent's have the day off.

I went to Roy Robinson Subaru because I bought my last Subaru there. I wanted a new 2013 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited and that is what I got! Kelly Rayson assisted me and he was absolutely fantastic! The whole process was quick and enjoyable. I did not feel pressured in any way. He was so knowledgeable and professional. This was my fourth Subaru and my second purchase from Roy Robinson. I am so thrilled with the car and feel that I got a very good deal. I would, and already have, recommended Roy Robinson to friends.
The best dealership I have been to in 40 years
The salesman I worked with was calm and professional and listened to my needs. He did not try rushing me into anything. All the other personnel I came into contact with were very nice also. There was none of this paper flying around the building to different offices for approval/denial. No two, three or four people to talk to. I asked for specific options including color and my salesman was able to find it. We discussed the price, he spent 2 minutes talking with someone else and the deal was done. This is the absolute best place I have shopped for a car in the last 40 years. Why would anyone go anywhere else
Great Deal / Outstanding Customer Service
An accident put me in a position of replacing my 2003 Nissan Frontier; so I started shopping around for a new or used truck. Looked at both new and used but being the start of a new year the 2012s with the options I was looking for were few and far between. Did a search on line Saturday morning and found a used 2010 Nissan Frontier with low mileage and in super mint condition. Got over to Roy Robinson at 930 am and was out the door with my new to me truck by 11. They even beat the finance rate my own bank was offering. Mark Miller and the staff at Roy Robinson are tops, I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had the most positive experience purchasing a used truck from Roy Robinson Cheverlolet / Subaru in Marysville, Wa. I found a truck I was interested in while searching on the net. I contacted the sales dept via email and Joshua Ip contacted me. We met up and looked things over / test ride. The '07 Ford F150 STX was everything claimed to be. Joshua assisted me in the purchace which made all the finanicing mumbo jumbo so simple. He worked wihin the buget I presented and actually came in under my payment goal. The finance department reviewd everything and presented warrenty and loan insurance options. I added to my purchase price and still came within my monthly payment budget. I had some (stupid) follow up questions for Joshua via text message. He researched the answers and got back to me...a sales person actually returns calls after the sale is final! We went to Roy Robinson because we had 10 yrs of good experiences with an RV service. However, it was 14 years since I bought a new car and I was dreading it. We got a quick internet reply from Randy, actually instantly after I put in my data in a buying service program. I had never been in a Subaru, so I needed to visit, gather information, and then decide if we wanted to negotiate. Mike Kempter was informative and friendly from beginning to end. When we got to negotiations and trade in talk, we settled on a price, I felt it was a "good" deal, and wasn't willing to push for "best" because I believe it should be a "win-win". I don't have the killer instinct, but I'm good with that. The car wasn't on the lot, but they could get it the next day. Then Mike discovered he'd made a $1,000 addition error and our trust was immediately severed. Here we were, happy to have passed the hardest part, and now we were devastated. Was this a slick sales job? All of our previous "slick sales" traumatic experiences rose in our memories. Oh no could we be wrong about Mike? When he walked away to talk it out, we decided we'd leave if they couldn't/wouldn't fix it, but our faith was restored when he returned and explained how management had come up with a plan to make up for $750 of the mistake. We were impressed with the integrity it took to back Mike up. Immediately Roy Robinson went up a couple of notches, and we saw Mike's error, as simply that, a human error. Mike stayed professional, compassionate, and informative, throughout. The next day when we took delivery of the car, he gave us the most thorough run through ever! I truly say Mike was the best salesperson we could have had. He truly loves cars, especially Subaru, so his excitement about what the car had that was cool, or an improvement from last year, was honest. That is the highest compliment I could give a car salesman and dealership. Mike was honest, and Roy Robinson has integrity. Oh and I love my Subaru!
It was my husband and my first experience with buying a car at a dealership, was nervous at first. But our sales guy Jason was very friendly, not pushy or demeaning. It was an excellent customer service experience. Very welcoming and they listened to our concerns and goal price. They worked with our initial offer even though it was probably an odd number to start with. We felt comfortable throughout the whole process. Jason even asked if we wanted to be alone to discuss things intermittently. I valued that so much , it is nice to have the time to discuss with my husband without the sales person around hovering and listening in. That took the pressure off of us. We eventual bought the Subaru forester we looked at and overall it was a great experience. We would definitely consider buying from Roy Robinson dealership again if we need another car.
I'm not a guy who writes reviews because the dealer asks me to... I'm writing becuase I had an excellent experience. Totalled my car last week and walked into the dealership on Friday. Met Jason Peterson. There was NO pressure, NO hassles - just honest answers about their vehicles and other brands. We got the information we needed and made an educated decision to buy. Had a great new Tahoe the next morning. The price was very fair and the purchasing process was easy. Took a few hours and we drove away happy. I will definately recommend Roy Robinson and Jason Peterson!

Excellent experience each time
We purchased our Impreza from Brian Russell 5 months ago after looking at a lot of other dealerships and Roy Robinson was the only one that would give us a good deal. A few days ago we brought our 2012 Impreza in for service, and even though we were there just for the service, Brian was very attentive and treated us like friends. We were killing time so started looking at the 2013s and upgraded to a Legacy. We really trust Brian and this dealership. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of -- and did that even after the sale of our first car.
My only complaint is when the Service Department did work on our Impreza, I found grease on my ivory colored front seat. Now that my 2013 Legacy has black seats I will make sure to cover them with a towel when the car is being serviced.
Overall we trust this dealership and can't say enough about them. Brian listens to you and helps you get the best deal possible. We'll be back if we want to upgrade our Legacy but we probably won't, we plan on keeping it. We loved the Impreza but love the Legacy too so we are now hooked on Subarus!

Friendly, satisfying purchase
I purchased a used Forester from Brian Russell. I made an inquiry on the vehicle using the online application and was contacted within an hour. I knew what I wanted and Brian described the vehicle that he had taken in and it was a match. Brian picked me up at the Mukilteo ferry landing the next morning and helped me get the deal complete in time for me to get home and watch the football game. Jody was very helpful at the dealership and overall it was a friendly, satisfying experience. Brian went above and beyond any previous car purchase experience.
Robinson dealership provides excellent service
Overall the service here was excellent. Brian Russell was our salesman and he paid close attention to our needs and provided us with a good deal on a new outback. This was our first new car, which I am not inclined to get a new car, but the price was so close to newer used cars that it did not matter. My advice is to visit one or two other dealerships as well and get a feel for what you are getting into, but you will find Roy Robinson dealership is a top quality dealership compared to the others. If the ski passes are important to you, note that Roy Robinson only has the passes to Crystal Mountain, which we won't use. Stevens Pass tickets we would have definitely used because it is much closer. The car runs excellent, especially for a 4 cyclinder and once you figure out the bluetooth, it is awesome quality. People could not tell I was driving. And I can't wait to try it in the snow! I know it will be fine. Thanks Brian for all your help. You are an awesome person and your daughter is beautiful, but mine is the most beautiful! You will probably get to meet her in the near future as she will be getting a newer car soon. :)
I put in a request online for a price quote on a basic 2013 Subaru Forester with automatic drive. Mike Mauer contacted me by telephone. He had a very pleasant manner, and after several phone conversations, we agreed on a price, and I set a date and time to come in for a test drive. On 12/12, Jeramy Turner met me out in front of the dealership. He had a basic model parked there, though it wasn't my color. He explained various details of the car, with me asking questions, and we took it for a test drive. An important buying point for me is always the seller's personal experience. Jeramy had a Forester of his own and was enthusiastic about it's performance over the last ten years. That impressed me and was a major selling point. The whole transaction for purchase took 2 hours. I returned 12/14 to pick up the car in my preferred color as it had to be sent over from another town. 12/18, the Forester got a workout in heavy snow at Stevens Pass. Good show! ....... Excellent service from Roy Robinson Subaru in Marysville! Excellent product!
We love our new Crosstrek
We returned to Roy Robinson for the 4th time, purchasing a new Crosstrek. It didn't matter to our salesman, Mark Miller, that we went through Costco, he was gracious with his time, coming in on his day off to meet us and go over options. In the end he helped us order a Crosstrek to meet our requirements. Mark was friendly and low pressure throughout and kept us in the loop on delivery through text messages. We love our new Crosstrek, better fuel economy than our old Outback and on a drive to Whistler on the Sea to Sky it kept pace with the BMWs on the road, accelerating up the steep hills just fine with the CVT and held curves in the rain and slush with no problem.

I have bought 5 cars from Roy Robinson now, 3 in the last 6 months, used and new. All the staff are wonderful - no-pressure, knowledgeable, and very friendly - even when you don't buy a car. Brian Russell excels at all of the above. He knows the stock and learns what his customers want. Last week my wife and I were assisted by Kelly Rayson in the purchase of a new 2012 Chevy Cruze. When I walked into the showroom, I was approached by Kelly Rayson. He asked me what he could do for me today, and, I asked him what did I have to do to drive away in a new car by the weekend. Kelly asked me a few questions, went away for a few minutes to check with the finance department and the General Manager, and, after a very short time, Kelly returned with good news! There are a number of reasons why we were so thrilled to give our business to Roy Robinson Subaru, starting with the amazing customer service we received. Joshua Ip was our salesman. We told him what we were looking for and the first car we test drove was exactly what we wanted! Josh didn't try to upsell us or talk us into any other car than what we asked for. He was very patient with all of our questions and gave us the most thorough explanation of the car we'd ever heard in a test drive. After we purchased the car, Josh stayed late to thoroughly take us through the owner's manual and continue to answer all of our questions about the car.
We also met Mark King, the General Manager of the dealership. Mark was polite, friendly, and took his time talking to us, even though it was the end of the day on a Friday evening.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and although Marysville is rather far from us, we'll likely travel up there for repairs to continue to support this great dealership. If you're looking for a Subaru, a Chevrolet, or an RV, definitely take the trip up to Marysville. It's worth it!
Jermey's customer service was just what I was looking for when I finally made my decision on the vehicle I was going to purchase. He was not pushy, rude, or anything like that. He did not call me to the point of driving me nuts. He just let me make the decision of what was best for me. Salesman Mark Miller came through
I'm not a fan of the car buying experience. I don't like the upsell, the pressure, the negotiating. I want to research the vehicle I want, contact the salesman and settle on a price that's good for both of us, before setting one foot on the lot. Mark Miller (Roy Robinson Chevy salesperson) allowed me to do just that. I interacted with him via cell, text, and e-mail after doing a test drive with him several weeks prior. I knew what I wanted and had even visited other dealerships in the area--who's staff was not as professional. When I decided how much I wanted to pay, and Mark Miller agreed, the process was done. I came into the dealership to sign the papers and was out as soon as the ink was dry. I appreciate that Roy Robinson, and Mark, took the stressful part of car buying out of the process for me. I'd recommend them to a friend or family member.

We just purchased a 2013 Subaru Forester with the excellent help from Jeramy Turner. He was professional, helpful, knowledgable, friendly and not pushy. We have a 2008 Winnebago Voyage that we purcheased in 2007 from Roy Robinson and we trust this dealership, so it was a no brainer to come here for our new Subaru. We traded in our 2002 Chevy Impala, that we loved, and walked away with the prefect Subaru in the color we wanted to match our Motorhome! Jeramy found us a Subaru with everything we wanted, plus the items we were going to add on later, and it arrived on the lot in an hour ready for us to take home! We recently purchased a Chevy Silverado. Our experience with Mike Mauer was excellent. After being to 3 or 4 other car lots with pushy salesman Mike was a was a breath of fresh air. Once we got over the shock that he was the same age as our son...his lack of experience didn't make a difference. He was knowledgeable about his products. If there is something he didn't know, he didn't make it up, he asked the right people. We'll go back when we are ready for our next purchase!

Subaru XV Crosstrek
One month ago I decided our family needed to reduce our gasoline expenses on my F-250 '03, not to mention the maintenance costs over the last couple of years. Years ago I owned a Forrester, the first year they came out and was very happy with the performance and cost with this vehicle. We have lived in a rural mountainous area the last 3 years and know a 4 wheel or all wheel drive is a must have to get us through the winters here. I went on-line directly to the Subaru site and saw the 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek and felt this was the vehicle that made sense in all ways. I found Roy Robinson was the closest Subaru dealership and stopped by one day in September, talked to a salesperson who informed me it may mid-October before this model would arrive at the dealership. One week ago, my wife and I stopped in and were kindly greeted by Mark Miller. He made us feel welcome and reinforced our belielf that we indeed came to the right dealership and proceeded to do everything in his power to initiate the steps to aquiring the XV Crosstrek. He mentioned the lot had already sold out of the couple that had been delivered, the very day they arrived. We sat down with Mark and felt very comfortable with his manner and knowledge of product. 2 hours later we had drawn up an agreement on purchasing a 2013 on order and was to take possession in two months.
Monday, October 8th, I received a call from Mark while on my way home from work. "Hi Tim. I thought I should let you know an XV Crosstrek arrived today and if you're in a position to come see it, I'll be here." Needless to say, it was everything I was looking for. I had a wonderful test drive and an hour and a half later my carport was sporting a brand new Subaru XV Crosstrek! Thanks to Mark Miller, Mark King, and Roy Robinson Subaru.

After an absolutely terrible experience with a VW dealer in Portland, I took a longer look at Subaru and found just what I wanted in a 2012 Subaru Forestor XT Touring at Roy Robinson, on the other side of WA State from where I live. I had significant trepidation about trying again to purchase a vehicle so far from where I live. But the staff at Roy Robinson were among the best I have ever worked with in my 40 years of buying cars. They are forthright, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional in all respects. I just purchased a 2012 Chevy Tahoe. I reluctantly retired my reliable 2001 Tahoe, that just had way too many miles!(OVER 200,000 miles!) We worked with Kelly Rayson, he was very accommodating. The Tahoe was my first choice, second was the Traverse...I needed to make certain that the new Tahoe would fit in my garage.(My old Tahoe barely fits by pulling in the drivers side mirrors. Kelly actually let us drive a Tahoe home (30 min. drive one way) JUST to be 100% sure! Love my new car!

I had a great experience at this car dealer, I have bought over 8 new cars in the past 10 years from other dealers and I thought it was strange when I came in and asked questions and left and they did not hound me for my name and number,and then to call me back 500 times trying to buy a car. Worth the trip
I just purchased a 2012 Subaru Forester this week assisted by Mike Mauer. He was knowledgable and accomodating. In spite of the shortage of color choice this time of the year-end close-out sales, Mike arranged to ship in the color we ordered and stayed late to make sure all was as we wanted. This particular car had all the features we were looking for, plus! Roy Robinson even agreed to price-match to the other dealer's pricing of our specific car. When it came time to fill out the paperwork, Jeff McEwen was very helpful and cheerful, even when he had to start all over when we noticed the VIN number was for the wrong car (oops). Other than that delay, every part of the process was smooth, respectful, and relatively stress-free. Mike was great to work with and we love our new, Camilia Red Pearl(!) Forester!

Thanks to Dave Koshak for making our car buying experience very "humane". I called all of the dealers in the area and then visited three of them. Roy Robinson had the most personal staff and it was obvious that they would bend over backwards to get our business. Like all car dealers, they will try to negotiate the best price for themselves--the difference with Roy Robinson is that they negotiate in good faith and go out of their way to make sure that you buy from them. Once you have agreed on a deal, they deliver on their promises. Good friends of ours also had a similar experience only two weeks before we bought our Outback. We all rate them excellent and will do business with them again.

What can I say? I have bought new cars in the past and my purchase with Mark Miller a couple of weeks ago has been the best by far. After seeing the Traverse on Roy Robinson's website and liking what I saw, I decided to go check the car out. Mark Miller saw me walking in the store, noticed I needed help, and immediately stood up to answer whatever questions I had. After showing me the car and going through the customary test drive, Mark gave me the numbers and we had a deal. Buying cars is usually a pretty drawn out and stressful experience, but, it wasn't so at all buying a car from Mark. He made me feel so comfortable, it felt like I was just in my living room talking to a friend. It was all over and I was driving my car away before I knew it.

These guys are awesome! Bought my 2012 Impreza from them last week. I worked with Josh and he was great. He took the time to walk me through all the features of the Nav before I bought it and the other features of the car. He was very knowledge and made the whole process very "painless."
Once buying the vehicle he walked me through the manual and the specs of the car, gave me some pointers to "break in" the car safely and overall just little maintenance pointers.
I am very happy with my purchase and the car is great! I am a first time car buyer but they made everything very easy. I test drove on a separate day since I was privately selling my old car and went back in to get my new car. On that second day it took no more than 2 hours to talk to the finance manager (who was very nice and made everything very simple and easy to understand) get the keys and get on my way.
I had to run an errand at the mall after and I went in to get some lunch at a local sub shop and I was talking to the gals that I just bought a car from Roy Robinson and one said to me "oh they are great! my family buys all are cars from them." And I can certainly see why.
I wish I lived closer so I could take my car in to be maintenance but maybe I will be able to make a scheduled trip up there.

Recently we were in the market for a new motorhome so we checked with our RVing friends for product and dealer recommendations. The dealership that kept coming up first was Roy Robinson Chevrolet/RV. Although their dealership was 70+ miles from our home we checked out their RV web page and found a motorhome that looked like it would fit our needs. We sent some emails to the dealership asking questions, and our questions were always promptly answered. We decided to make the drive to Marysville and were greeted by Jim Cuney. Jim was very knowledgeable about the motorhome and the manufacturer. There was absolutely no pressure, we were provided with any and all info we requested and allowed to take our time making a decision. Once we decided to purchase the motorhome everyone we contacted was very helpful and made us feel like a valued customer. We would highly recommend Jim Cudney and Roy robinson RV.

I came in to just look at what was available and what options were on each Subaru. Before I knew it I was test driving the vehicle. Chris was a no pressure saleman,which is what I prefer. My first option was another manufacturer but after testing the Subaru the wife was sold. Chris went out of his way to make the entire experience actually enjoyable. The first thing he did was give me the keys and told me to go drive it,enjoy and bring it back when I was done. He didn't even ask for a lot of ID as other dealers do. This is testiment to his ability to read people and trust them. My wife was astonished by this and Chris' The other dealer I had been dealing with kept calling me after I told the salesman not to. When I'm ready I'll let them know. I hate pushy saleman so it was a delight to meet Chris. He answered my questions and provided valuable information which made my decision easier. I had a trade in and that too was low key and Chris went the extra mile and got the job done to where I was happy and assume the dealership was happy. The whole process took only a couple days. When we took delivey Chris was extremely knowledgable about the workings of the various options. I feel if I need to have somethin later restated Chris will be there. All in all it was a great car at a fair price and we love it. I have bought and sold 3 motorhomes at Roy Robinson as well and that experience was just as great. Dave Matson was the saleman handling all three deals.

My wife and I just purchased a 2012 Silverado 1500. We first arrived on a Monday and I explained to the salesman, Michael Kempter that we were looking to buy a new pickup. He showed us several vehicles and answered all of our questions. He then gave us the keys to 3 different vehicles to take test drives and that is where the meeting ended the first day. I told him that I had an appointment the following day to test drive some Fords and to my surprise, he said that he thought that was a great idea. We showed back up to Roy Robinson on Wednesday and test drove 2 more vehicles before finding the Silverado that we eventually purchased.
I feel we got a fair deal on our trade in and we were shown the dealer invoice on the Silverado. Our experience with Michael and the Roy Robinson team was a pleasant NO-PRESSURE experience and will go back for our next purchase.

Overall I had a great experience dealing with Roy Robinson Chevrolet. I am a first time car buyer with a limited credit history, so finding a car I could get a loan for was a little tricky. I went in to look at the 2012 Chevy Sonic with high hopes and an empty wallet. I worked with Dominique and he was very helpful. He first tried to show me a few used cars that he thought were a little more in my price range and I would have a good chance at getting approved for. But, as I said, I had my heart set on a Sonic. Dominique immediately let me take a test drive and got started on the financing. He was able to get me a reasonable payment and a very low interest rate, as well as 0 down which was perfect for me. Overall, I left the dealership very happy with exactly what I wanted, and was very satisfied with my visit.

My overall experience at Roy Robinson was absolutely great other than the pain I went through to order customized plates. The employee in licensing was extremely difficult to deal with and made a relatively simple task about as difficult as could be. It was just one thing after another and getting the plates turned into a bit of an ordeal. Other than that, my experience with Jeramy, the internet sales representative, was top notch and he hooked me up with my dream car.

Our salesman Dominique Weitzel was extremely helpfull in all aspects of our purchase - and as well as being a "Car Whisperer" (you'll see, if you meet him); He was very thorough in covering all the features of the car, and did quite an excellent Job of making sure that we understood the feature, and knew that we could come back at any time for help if we somehow had any issues. I purchased my Silverado at Roy Robinson back in 2000, and was treated very well then too - which is why we started (and finished) our car search this time with them. We visited Roy Robinson in hopes of purchasing a 2012 Camaro and we were met immediately outside by TJ Freilinger. TJ was very friendly and went out of his way to answer all of our questions. We were told during the paperwork that we would pay less than the sticker price but we owed more on our trade in than it was worth so we had about $2000 to roll into the new loan. When we went to sign the paperwork, we found that they paid more on our trade in and we only rolled $200 into our new loan! That is fantastic and we love that they were able to accommodate us. We walked away with our dream vehicle, with a payment we were wanting and a low APR. This dealership goes above and beyond all expectations to make their customers happy. Is this really how it goes when you buy a truck??? Roy Robinson exceeded our expectations while we were going through the process of purchasing our new truck. Michael didn't rush us, went over the controls on the car and was very patient when we asked questions. Worked with Michael Kempter over the weekend to buy a new Camaro- my first car purchase in ten years. When I buy a vehicle I know I am going to be in it for a long time, so I really put a lot of time in to picking out the right one. Michael was super patient with me as I spent over 6 hours test driving different cars. He gave me just the right amount of space to be able to really spend the time I needed with each one. I had started my search at another dealership that has been selling cars to my family for four generations, but after the service I got at Roy Robinson I would never consider buying a car anywhere else.

We just purchased a 2008 Winnebago Adventurer which will soon become our house on wheels ... planning to become full timers in the very near future for the next couple of years. Rick Miller and Ray Arsvold where absolutely great in helping us through our multiple visits looking at several different RV's. Matt Evar who did the delivery walk around didn't miss a single feature of this marvelous unit and answered all of our questions about everything. In fact, he showed us things included on this rig that we didn't even know was on it. All of the staff at Roy Robinson are the greatest and I highly recommend them to everyone.

These guys break the mold for used car sales. I just got a 2005 Jeep Liberty, and TJ actually encouraged me to shoot for a lower price than I was planning. After buying the car, they replaced the windshield for free after I found a hidden crack under the windshield wiper. I can't imagine any other used car place doing that. If you're disillusioned about salespeople trying to give you a raw deal, definitely check out Roy Robinson in Marysville.

In the past it was very common for me to feel a deep sense of buyer's remorse after purchasing a car. Admittedly the internet has helped a great deal by making comparable information accessible but when you are choosing the dealership and the sales professional to work with you look for a personal relationship that you can believe in.
My husband Ron and I have purchased 5 vehicles from you over the last 10 years; (my son bought 2 of them) and we keep coming back because of TRUST. Russos has often gone out of his way to secure and fairly negotiate financial terms for us when we were recovering from the loss of our business. His advice has always been accurate and truthful as well as directed towards our best interest. We have come to think of him and Karina as "family" and will always go to him for all our transportation needs no matter where we live. Roussos was very helpful. He showed us all vehicles that may fit our needs and was very knowledgeable. When we did make a decision, he made it happen. He was also very helpful going over all the operation, locations of controls, he even helped programming the cell phone's bluetooth capability. Both Dave and I give him all 10's!

He went the extra mile and at the last minute secured the car I wanted at a different dealership, facilitated a dealer trade, and had the car waiting for me by the time I got off work. Jeramy Turner actually made car buying FUN! I've bought several cars over the years, and this was the first time that I actually got exactly what I wanted without some pushy sales person trying to load me up with extra/useless features, or sell me a different car because there was some sales incentive for him to push me into something else. Even weeks later I find myself completely satisfied with my purchase at Roy Robinson. I feel like I got a fair price and I'm incredibly happy with the 2012 Subaru Outback I purchased from Jeramy Turner. I absolutely recommend Roy Robinson for anyone looking to make a purchase. Jeramy Turner did a great job. Has extremely courteous, and patient with us. We had a very pleasant buying experience, even though we did experience a bit of a sticker shock, since we came in for basic and ended up buying premium version of the car. The Outback is a wonderful car, and I hope that it will provide us with year of reliable service just as it's predecessor Forester did.
Looking for a bigger truck
I was looking to replace my 2001 Silverado 1500 with a larger truck, because I needed more towing and cargo handling room. I also wanted the power of diesel, so I stopped in to check out the 3500HD. Joshua came by to help out and showed me a beautiful, 2012 3500HD LTZ Silverado. We took it for a test drive and I just fell for it. I brought the wife out the next day and walla, new truck. This will be my third vehicle with Roy Robinson, and as always, the service and satisfaction is of the highest standards. Joshua was with us through the whole process, and he was most impressive, I am very satisfied with all he has done for us. Thank you, Joshua.
Very happy with Jamie Hoyan
We negotiated a car and price via email and phone with Jamie Hoyan and were very happy and impressed with the advice and service he provided. We purchased a 2012 Impreza and so far are very happy with it. Jamie even picked us up at the ferry terminal in Anacortes and drove us to the dealership to sign the paperwork and pick up our new car. Jamie has followed up with us to make sure everything is ok with the car and we are very grateful for his help and great service.
Subaru Impreza fit the bill wonderfully
We needed a new car and the Subaru Impreza fit the bill wonderfully. Due to the Japan earthquake/tsunami and the Thailand floods the new 2012 Imprezas were delayed for several months. Roy Robinson was the only Subaru dealership that was willing to negotiate on price and gave us a great deal (all other dealers were holding fast to MSRP). Very satisfied with the car, accessories, and dealer experience. Very friendly and a joy to work with. ...And we traveled all the way from Sammamish to buy from them. (50 miles away)

Purchased a car over the phone
I have never bought a car over the phone, sight unseen, not driven before. Brent took care of everything and then some. I had a flat tire the day after I bought the car and he came out and took care of that as well. We had been talking about the car for several months, but when I decided to go ahead and buy it, Brent went over and above my expectations. I gave his card to my neighbor who wants to trade in his p/u for a Chev. Would certainly use him again.

Roussos Nevratakis was an awesome salesman, very trustworthy and patient, and answered all my questions. I browsed several dealerships over 2 months before I came to Roy Robinson, I only wish I would of went there sooner. The staff far exceeded my expectations, hassle and haggle free. I must say the overall professionalism and no -pressure sales approach we had with Roussos Nevratakis deserves a 12 on a scale of 10 (it's not a misprint...12 on a scale of 10 is exactly what I mean). I've bought a few cars over the years, and he was the most pleasant and helpful, yet not at all pushy, salesperson I can recall. When he knew an answer, he helped. When he didn't he just said he didn't know...but he gets busy and finds the answer. Even when we asked him some rather pointed questions about some things he didn't really in all fairness have to answer, he didn't dodge them...he had the courage and integrity to just give us honest answers instead of blowing smoke in a manner calculated to pacify us. We asked him for a supply of his business cards with the intent of sending him as many referrals as we can. The car we bought is a 2012 Forester. It's still brand new to us, but we hope our initial positive impression of the car's performance and quality become a long-term endorsement.

I am so pleased with the entire transaction process with my recent purchase. This is my second purchase of a vehicle from your dealership and second transaction with Mr. Nevratakis. My first experience with Roy Robinson was back in 2009. My daughter and son-in law were ranting and raving about the positive experience they had with the dealership and especially with Roussos. So when the time came to purchase a vehicle, I decided I would go down and check this salesman out and find out what all of the hoopla is about. I have two brothers that have been in the Automobile business, both have over 35 years experience individually as service managers. I too am in the service industry business, so I know how hard it is to please the end user. Please extend my deepest gratitude and a job well done to Roussos, he is a real keeper.
I've bought a car here
I've bought a car here and a few people in my family have as well. They are very fair with negotiations. Zero pressure - with none of the typical dealer number games. Hell they taught me how to drive a manual on the test drive. No manipulation involved, just honest and fair prices. Do your homework on what's fair, approach them, and they will work with you so long as you are reasonable! The after-purchase service is excellent as well. Their service manager, Butch, has gone above and beyond my expectations for issues a lot of other dealerships would have blown me off for. It's been six months since purchasing and they are still willing to go above and beyond to keep me happy. If my next car is a subaru or chevy, you can bet I will be a repeat customer. I often refer friends to this dealership as it's a rare gem compared to most. I've helped purchase a few dozen cars and I've bought around a half dozen myself - I speak with experience!

I was able to buy an RV that was $180k or so new for just $59k with the Extended Service plan. Since our purchase the service department has since gone out of its way to take care of us when we call on them and the Extended Service Plan has been a real life saver. They are not always smart buy but this one is proving to be so far. We have to stay in the lot overnight when we are there since we live in the coach and they make that work out just fine. Safe and sound on the lot. No hassles. They are my exclusive resource in this area for service on our coach and advice on my RV. They do good work, fast and at fair prices. We are a professional working couple who simply love this lifestyle. We live here in the Kirkland area. I can highly recommend the service manager who I won't mention by name but he is a very sharp guy who will take ...
